Need a li'l advice please:)

There's this guy I like, but I haven't been able to start anything with him yet. He's sort of an intellectual type, not that I'm not, but I just don't know what I could say to him without sounding like a dimwit:(. sorta cuz when you're around guys u like, not everything comes out as you thought it would:S, lol. Any ideas on what I should say?

i know this doesn't seem like it will help, and it might not, but just be yourself. if you have to change to get him, then he's not worth it.

If he doesn't behave accordingly then forget about him, he obviously isn't worth it.

Anyway if he is the intellectual type he will be able to tell if you are trying too hard. Chances are he already knows what "type" you are from hanging out with you or watching you in class, etc. So dont pretend to be something you arent. Just be yourself and he will like it or not.

The bottom line is that you wouldnt want to be with this guy because he thinks your intellectual. You want him to like you for you, because you like him for him, so dont change yourself. If he doesnt like you then you should be with someone who does.

But if you want to go the *shallow route (kidding kinda) read "Atlas Shrugged," and "The Human Situation," then strike up a conversation about the philosophies and how they contradict. Talk about how plate tectonics REALLY caused that tsunami. Talk about the concepts of linear dimensions and how supposedly all of reality pops in and out of existance. Go see "What the Bleep" together... I dont know....

I don't think I'm gonna flash him, lol, funny anyway! a lot of you had good points, but u mostly said the same thing, just to be myself, and I think I would be anyway, because you're right, if he doesn't like ME than he's not worth it. I just wanted to get ideas on how to Start talking to him, you've helped anyway.:)
