No, I haven't ever "fallen" for my best friends boyfriend. Nor would I ever! For one reason, most of my best friends haven't had boyfriends or are single. Two, more importantly, I have more love, loyalty and respect for my best friends and their relationships (if any). And three, the ones who did have boyfriends before, were disrespectful, immature, violent, a cheater, did a lot of drugs, drank a lot and dressed like "gangsters" (not sure if that's the right way to put it, lol). I'm not quick to judge, heck I have friends who do drugs once in a while and who get drunk, but I just wouldn't want to date someone who did. However, I have to say the whole "gangster" look is a pet peeve of mine. Although I have friends who do dress in that way and do meet people who do, and I could care less, I'm not fond of it (sorry guys for any of you who do, lol). In any case, I just couldn't date my friends "boyfriends". A fourth, most important reason, is that I have a boyfriend and am in a committed, steady, mature relationship. |

Now you see, when I was still a pagan, non of that mattered except for handfasting (marraige) If my friend was handfasted to a girl, I wouldnt even start to think of her in that light. otherwise, all my friends where pagans, all there girl friends where pagans, and for pagans, its not a big deal to sleep with someone else unless your hand fasted to someone. Now that Im a christian, I havnt had a relationship yet becosue Im not sure of the rules that correspond, so celibaicy is my allie for now untill I figure things out better on the rules of a relationship. |
