14 years agoAlright so i've been seeing this guy lets call him Ray for about 3 months now and we are kind of on and off I mean it's like one day were dating the next we think its best if were just friends..During one of our fights we had my brothers bestfriend kind of moved into the picture and started texting me..He's a really sweet guy and you know he treats me good. They both treat me really good. My brothers bestfriend knows about Ray but Ray doesn't know about him. I love Ray, I'm completely in love with him..I want to be with him for the rest of my life with no doubts or questions..He is THE ONE! but I'm not sure what to do about my brothers friend cause i do like him and everything, but I want Ray..Am i being selfish?
Ughh..What do i do, how do I break it off with My brothers friend and am i being selfish?? -

There is no question that you are confused!!! This kind of thing happens all the time eh. But at the same time, you need to let one of them go. It is not fair to 'Ray' that you are talking to someone behind his back; and it is also not fair to the 'brother's bff'. Even though he knows that you are in a relationship, your continuation to talk to him leads him on, and makes him believe that one day you two will be. But, by reading your post, it doesnt look like that is going to happen! So, to answer your question, YES, you are being a little selfish. But that is human. You should let the 'brother's bff' know that this whole thing is just over with. If you want to make it work with 'Ray', you should be putting all you have into the relationship; not talking to someone else on the side. -
