The P&Q Carolers!

Have you ever gone around door to door singing Christmas carols? Sang carols during a Christmas concert when you were in preschool? Sang while you were on a sleigh ride? Or maybe went to visit and sing to the elderly at a nursing home? I know I have, and I know that I've always had a great time with family, friends and the rest of the community and gotten into the Christmas spirit. So I thought this might be a fun, engaging activity to get P&Q members into the spirit.

Here's how it'll work. We'll start off with several lines from a Christmas carol. The next person will add the next several lines for that carol on to the first, and so on and so forth until the whole Christmas carol has been completed. Once that Christmas carol has been finished, someone else can start off with several lines from the next Christmas carol of their choosing. Titles aren't necessary, it'll make it more challenging if you forget the lyrics or to which carol they belong to, haha. Also try not to look up the lyrics, make it more challenging for yourself and see if you can remember them my heart or memory.

Hope you all enjoy this fun, engaging activity and you have a Merry Christmas (Happy Holidays) and Happy New Year! :)

Oh, the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire is so delightful,

And since we've no place to go

^ Haha. I'll let you off the hook.

Thank you Bob. Even if the spirit isn't with you this year you at least have those memories. I know some of my fond Christmas memories is when the whole family gets together at my grandparents farm for Christmas and they'd get their neighbors or a family member to dress up as Santa and come to pay our little house on the prairies a visit, lol. Although, last night and this morning my Christmas spirit had been dampered.

It doesn't show signs of stopping,
And I've bought some corn for popping,

^ Haha, you were actually singing on the other end of the monitor? You're brave! Sorry though, humming doesn't count. :P

LifesAlovePoem, you're spot on, lol. ;) I can't recall the next verse, however I can remember the last one, so I guess I'm just going to have to be patient and wait.

Ok, i really dont know that song, so I wanna start a differnt one,

    We three kings of Orient are;
    Bearing gifts we traverse afar,
Field and fountain, moor and mountain,
    Following yonder star.

O star of wonder, star of light,
    Star with royal beauty bright,
    Westward leading, still proceeding,
Guide us to thy perfect light.
