I know saying Happy Holidays is just to respect people's religions and beliefs and be polite, and that is very thoughtful but why not say Happy Holydays? the Advent and Christmas season is certainly Holy and is a time for preparing for the birth of our Lord, and then welcoming our Lord and thanking Him for coming to US. |

I understand that and that is not the point I was trying to make. Yes, there is nothing wrong with saying Happy Holidays because you seriously are wishing someone good tidings and cheer and joy BUT are we giving enough gratitude to God by saying that? How are we serving Him in our words and actions? |

How are we serving Him in our words and actions? By everything dear, by simply saying "God bless" and so many countless ways.... |

You are right Britt, and I believe that, especially that top part about not being about religion when you are wishing someone a good season...etc. |
