Happy Holydays!

I know saying Happy Holidays is just to respect people's religions and beliefs and be polite, and that is very thoughtful but why not say Happy Holydays? the Advent and Christmas season is certainly Holy and is a time for preparing for the birth of our Lord, and then welcoming our Lord and thanking Him for coming to US.

Saying Merry Christmas is spreading the Love of Christ and think of it that way, you are basically saying Jesus came first to the lowly and He came to save ALL.

If you type in anywhere "Christmas" you will come up with santa, candy canes, trees, presents, but not mainly with the Truth, the Real meaning of Christmas.

    Christ.

Christ IS Christmas. We must remember this. Christ is OUR LORD of ALL of the earth, and even if sometimes we don't acknowledge Him, He is always caring about how we are, and always LOVING US, no matter what sins we committ.

Please remember today the true meaning of Christmas, ponder it, and hold it in your hearts. Our purpose is to serve HIM, no matter what religion or whatever we are, we are all CALLED to live in HIS footsteps as best as we can.

WE ARE MADE IN THE IMAGE AND LIKENESS OF GOD.

So Merry Christmas and Happy Holydays!

I understand that and that is not the point I was trying to make. Yes, there is nothing wrong with saying Happy Holidays because you seriously are wishing someone good tidings and cheer and joy BUT are we giving enough gratitude to God by saying that? How are we serving Him in our words and actions?

How are we serving Him in our words and actions? By everything dear, by simply saying "God bless" and so many countless ways....

What would be the point of our life if we don't serve Christ and help the others around us? God has a plan for us, a specific one already in gear. just Trust him with your Life.

Thank you for your time in replying but we are All sent on this earth to do His Will and not our Will. We each have our own ways in life that we will serve Him, for me writing poems to praise him, for others it will be different.

I am just being a prophet and reminding all of the true meaning of Christmas and that you are never left alone or unloved, God's love is never-ending, perpetual..

    GOD LOVES YOU!

Merry Christmas to one and all!

You are right Britt, and I believe that, especially that top part about not being about religion when you are wishing someone a good season...etc.

    God bless you!
