For me i believe on that, because that is the first time you fall inlove to him. and you do your very best to be with him. you shared a lot of first time memories having a partner thats why i believe on that...

I believe that you'll never forget him/her or the memories you had but I do think the love isn't the same. That it changes after time...

If love can die. or be forgotten or turn to hate. then was it ever trully love. i personally dont think so

You will always love your first love, no matter if there is a time in your life when you hate them or disgusted by them, you will always love them.

i do believe the love you get after your first IS different..of course this depends on how the relationship ended. in my case im not as connected to people as i was when i was with my first love.

My belief, if your love for someone could die, be forgotten or turn to hate then it was not truly love to begin with. However, I do believe that a persons love can change and can be shared. Eg. You and your partner have separated, both of you have moved on and now your love for each other, or for the other (in the case of that love being one-sided) is as friends. Or perhaps your partner unfortunately passes away, and after much grieving, in time, you move on and learn to share your love with another.

The love for my first love wont go away, however as time edges on and we slip in and out of a relationship and fail to make it work - I think the love i have for her is merely a strong memory of what once was. One which i will probably carry with me whoever i end up loving in the future.

Some people don't even remember their first love's name. Some people fall harder for another person than they did with their first love.

I believe that first love never dies because love can be one of the strogest emotions you have ever felt. Then again it can be differrent for everyone.

i still love my first love but i dont think im in love with him anymore..i will always have love for him you know...i still want him to be happy i think the reason we will always have feelings for our first love is because love is new at that point, you don't hold back, ur not really worried about getting hurt so you love completly and fully.

I feel the same way.

My first love will always, ALWAYS, be a part of me. We ended on shaky terms, but to this day I would do anything for him, and he'd do anything for me. I wouldn't say the love I have for him now is the same, but there is something there. I think loving someone and remembering them are sometimes hard to differenciate.

^ Then was it ever truly love to begin with? I don't believe so. I know I will never be able to forget my partners name so long as a I live... and so long as I don't undergo some sort of trauma that causes me to suffer from Retrograde Amnesia or so long as I don't get Alzheimers, lol (I think any kind of limitation or decay of my memory is my worst fear).

I think that even if you dont remember the person that you first fell in love with its perfectly fine.
What matters is what you've learned from them and the experience that you've gotten from that relationship.
So in a way you never really forget that person you first fellin love with right?

Fpr me i cannot forget the name of my first love, because ofcourse she is the first, and that is the first time i feel i am very luck to have her and spend some memories together...
