What's new with me..

..well, I decided in January to leave a relationship of 4 years that was going nowhere. I spent along time before that trying to make it work, but then realised that sometimes people just can't always get along. I am now in a new relationship and I feel very positive.

Nicole - humour should be a part of everyones lives. I remember when my son was rerally poorly and his mum and I still managed to smile and even laugh. It is important to balance the negatives in life with positives. Being wanna be poets we all appreciate the beauty this world has to offer, so allow a sunset/rise to fill you with light and wonder...if this doesn't work you could always stick pins in your eyes!! lol

Tiller - I think running a marathon is truly admirable. Have you been running for long? Is it a hobby? I do know that running long distances requires plenty of preparation of mind, body and soul, so I do hope you do all three. Are you running in aid of a charity? My step-dad has run lots of marathons, many of which in fancy dress. I think the last one he ran as Minnie Mouse? Tiller, maybe you could too?? :P

It's mothers day here tomorrow. I have bought mum a card, flowers and I will take her out for lunch too. Anyone elest treating their mum?
