Please can some one help with some metaphors?

I'm having alot of trouble thinking of a good metaphor for these two things. Everything I come up with is just pathetic and corny haha.

Her heart is as...
(referring to being cold, distant etc)

and

His name will become as...
(referring to becoming black, tainted etc)

It will be veryyy much appreciated if you have any ideas.
