Alright, so I am jobless and dadless and oldest in my family. Therefore, it's my job to figure out a wonderful mothers day gift for my mom. I have around 15 bucks. lol what in the world can you get for 15 bucks?

Any clever ideas? My mom is an amazing person so some good feedback would be greatly appreciated.

You could always make her breakfast, dinner or supper. I made my mom breakfast on Mother's Day a couple times and ate breakfast with her in bed. I'd put together fried baloney, scrambled eggs, toast, cereal and orange juice. I also wrestled with her on the bed on one occasion and had pushed her off the bed. We laughed ourselves silly. :)

It's the little things that mothers hold close to their hearts, I am the youngest child of four & she has received many lovely bought gifts from us all but she has kept all of the little things we have made her over the years, cards, letters, even silly little things such as animals made from pom poms and pipe cleaners... She constantly drums into my head that I must remember when she passes away I have to make sure those items are buried with her so she has something to "read" and look at when she's gone..

This year I asked my mother what she wants, I'm am art student and the only thing she said was for me to make her a lovely picture she can hang next to her bed.. along with the other things I've made her. She has a cross stitch of a butterfly and flowers that says mum, a poem made decorated and place in a frame.. amongst other things..

We were or I should say "dadless" aswell so i'm sure your mother will appreciate anything you give to her.. My mothers partial to flowers, it doesn't even have to be an elaborate bunch.. but work with what others have said above.. breakfast in bed, buy her a flower to place on the tray when you take it to her.. with a little note that reminds her she is special..

Don't worry about buying her a card, make one.. even if you don't think you are very creative.. Get all of the kids to add some finishing touches to it. You can get a flower for a couple of dollars, even if you pick one from someones lawn lol... I'm sure you can find some materials around the house for a card, and pancake mix is simple and cheap. Add some choc chips for a treat..

My boyfriend and I just for fun filled my mothers entire room up with balloons. She couldn't stop laughing. Even if you fill a wall up in her room with post-it-notes that say reasons why you love her.. what you remember her doing that made your day as a kid. Little things. She can collect them and keep them.

She will love anything you send her way. :]
