I meant "went for him" as in pursued him as a potential boyfriend. Healthy relationships aren't based on looks! If you were in love with a woman, Illuminatix, and she didn't love you back but was in a relationship with you solely based on your ridiculously good looks and chiseled features, I'm not sure you'd be satisfied with that :)
It's nice to be appreciated as something beautiful to look at, but being appreciated for who you are is something entirely different.
I'd rather a guy with an attractive brain than an attractive face, but I'm holding out for a guy who has both!

Princess - don't worry, I wasn't in a relationship with the guy. He was interested in being in one with me is all... until I dyed my hair. He preferred me blonde (and he was NOT a gentleman).

I think first impression when it comes to me is ''hear'' not ''look'' though. I never really notice any guy until he opens his mouth and talks. seriously. I'm rather weird like that.

That is strange...I am like that too! You can be attracted by an appearance, but it is when HE(!) opens his mouth you can catch a glimpse of his soul. You can mask things in your appearance, but a voice is very telling on what a person is all about and can be a huge turn-off as well.

I have often heard men talk about this too, how they just froze when a woman they thought was pretty opened her mouth and she turned out to be shallow or dumb, lol. ( I have this with macho men, can't stand them, ugh!)

LOl, you have a point there, Alfred. But not all people have the gift of writing!

I do agree on being captured by someone's mind by his writing...but I would need to see him and hear his voice to know who he is.

Oops, it is 8 AM already!! Time to do my weekly groceries!

    Goodnight peeps:)

    ''He preferred me blonde.''

    Ridiculous. just Ridiculous.

Alfred, between you and me as well, glad someone find frowning me captivating *laughs*

I have to say poetry is rather extremely edited thoughts to seek somehow.. perfection, so no, he has to talk. randomly. and about everything.
