people with long-distance relationships...

im in a long distance relationship...and its really hard...just like not seeing that person everyday...hurts alot inside...does anyone else have a long distance relationship...?

Long distance relationships do not work. In the ideal world love conquers all, but isn't and it doesn't.

Sure, they go just fine for a while, but the need for physical companionship on a more regular basis will inevitably get in the way.

That's why it hurts inside.

I'm not critising your relationship, but making comment on long distance relationships in general.

However...

A relationship should never be just 'alright'.

I am in a long distance relationship and we have been together for 6 months. We probably talk like 5 to 6 hours a day on average though, or more, we are inseperable and it hurts so much to be apart, but it will be a long time before we can be together. We have a count down of days, but the only reason it works is because I trust him implicitly, and he trusts me. Without trust long distance relationships dont work, but with mutual love, mutual understanding, mutual need, and mutual trust, they can work beautifully.

I'm in a long distance relationship. he lives 4 states away. We've known each other for almost a year and have been together for almost a month. things are going great, we really love each other.

I'm in a long distance relationship, as far as u could go basically. hes in California while i'm in New York. its really hard. but i love him so much. but i talk to him everyday on instant messager...it helps a lot.

long distance relationship doesn't work out man! she gonna block u soon or later... and she might fall in love with someone else so or later... but i have a long distance relationship... we just friends.. and the cool thing is the person gonna come live with me =P! sweet!! well if u believe ur gonna ever meet in person... then keep it up... if not? just let go and move on

my boyfriend just moved 6 hours away to go to uni, but we still talk pretty much everyday and we trust each other and we will see each other every holidays but i still miss him like hell!!! i didnt even get to spend valentines day with him :( only another 5 weeks.. i believe it can work as long as there is total trust from both sides of the relationship.. but it is a very difficult journey indeed...
