They say and I agree its only a matter of time maybe within 10 years before Nanotechnology is a part of everyday life the technology is happening now, today. This will change the way we live and the way we view our future, and where it will take us as a species the possibilities are enormous and the risks huge |

There is a site that covers all areas that Nanotechnology can be applied on:http://www.nanotechwire.com/ |

I don't think it has too much to do with rich and poor. |

You don't see the gap growing? How do you think it will be in a few years from now, when rich countries have access to all science has to offer, wearing shirts that clean themselves, cars that drive themselves and need one appointment at the hospital to cure their cancer, while on the other side of the globe, in poor African countries, people are still dying of Cholera, due to not having access to the basic element of life: clean water..not to mention Leprosy, Aids, etc. etc.....do you really think the rich countries will share in their knowledge for free with those poor basterds over there??? |

I don't think todays logic can be applied when it comes to nanotechnology. Technology is speeding up exponentially so its hard to understand where this new technology will take us or the world economy. And where Japan and China will figure in all of this is hard to say, other than they take a good idea or technology and replicate it, refine it, traditionally they are not instigators. |

But one thing we should do is look outside of our Borders and look at the world as one economy |
