I'm not sure if many of you remember me, and I'm not sure how many people I knew on here when I left are still here now, but regardless, I have decided to rejoin this website -- not to post, but to comment.

Understanding that many people need boosts in their creative efforts and outlets, I'll be happy to give detailed critiques on people's work if they're looking to improve on their work. It may sound harsh to say this, but please don't tell me to comment your writing if it's a cliched, rhyming sob story about a love loss unless you've attached some kind of metaphor or actually need some advice on turning feelings into poetry that many people can appreciate.

My work is far from perfect but I know what makes 'good' poetry -- as subjective as it is, there are certain approaches and creative tools used to craft a decent poem.

    You may post requests underneath.

I've missed a lot of you.

I feel the same way. I just came back on after a long break (I kept my name and have posted 'poems' very sporadically but have decided to try to reconnect with this site and with writing again..
Anyways, here are two poems.. well if they can even be considered poems... that I did recently

(second is more like song lyrics)
    Thank you very much...

Danny I'm always up for a good critique. I've missed your insightful views about my poetry. In fact, I thank you in many ways because you have made me (in my eyes) a better poet/criticizer about poetry.

Would enjoy your opinion ofmy "Distorted Rape" and "The Wind". Feel welcome to comment on any of the others as I'm sure critique is needed.

Hey I would always love new insight, I'm just trying to bolster my own sort of raw poetic spirit and refine it and from the look of your own repertoire and the love that many respected members have for you, I'd say you're perfect for the job! I appreciate any help and commentary you may have. Thanks

I would love to hear your feedback on any of my newer poems. I just started an attempt at non-rhyming and I'm not quite sure how it is going.

    Thank you

I would like feedback on any of my poems.

I seem to get a lot of positive responses on my work, but not a lot of negative responses. Please feel free to really tear into any one of my poems.
