I don't know much about it but I just found out what it is. If anyone of you are reading this and wondering what it is, your best bet is to go online/youtube and you'll find something about it. All I know is that it's a secret society that follows Satan and controls the media and the music industry. They supposedly killed Michael Jackson, Tupac, and many other mainstream music artists. They are the ones that supposedly put subliminal messages in music and there are many songs out there (practically all songs) that if played backwards have Satanic messages in them. I don't believe it in but it's interesting to read.

I was wondering what you guys think/believe. After I found this out a couple hours ago, it actually creeped me out because many of the Illuminati symbols surrounds us and many musicians suggest Illuminati in their songs. "They" also mention that Bush and Obama are in the society. CREEPY.

I think it's a misunderstood form of social control and philosophical/religious belief. It doesn't just stem from Satanic worship. I think more of the focus on the power and perfection of man (some of it anyway). When the idea pops up, it's frequently surrounding power and control. In some form of this "satanic" practice, lower members can believe and practice in any belief without pressure. So long as these people are initiated, intellectual and (I think most of all) influential figures of society, they can join. If that can exist for nuclear members (in the same sense of nuclear families) of society, why not for the super powers of the world? We only know limited amounts about all this. If it sounds plausible then I'll say it's plausible.

Illuminati is a secret society of scientists who had major ideas about science which were defying to religious beliefs, so the church hunted them down for that because they thought that these were publicising their discoveries to stop religion from spreading, so they accused them of being a satanic society. In fact they were just scientists who wanted to spread their discoveries and "enlighten"<<< where the name comes from- the rest of the people... they weren't always a secret society, but they became one because of the church.
You're reading this and probably thinking if they're scientists then where to Bush and Obama fit in, I haveno idea about what was mentioned on youtube, but I think they probably mixed them up with the Masons, which are a completly different group. Because it is mentioned in the book that the masons once took in the Illuminati, but who knows.
I do believe in part of the information mentioned in the Dan Brown books, but not all... and of course my belief in those isn't one where I'd be challenging others in... because simply there isn't any tangible evidence for any. And since it all talks about symbols around us some can be very much incorrect because every single symbol is interpreted in many ways.

The Illuminati WAS real at one point, rather they are now or not is undetermined. and the wrong thing here is to say they worshiped Satan, far from it, they where men of science and the church shuned them for their disbelief in "Magic" that the pagans preformed after being able to show them how the "Magic" was scientificly posible. Pagans never preformed Magic in the sence the church beleived, Magic to them is like prayer to christian but instead of asking the will of some other being, they used their own will and the will of those who would help them. Yes the Illuminati WAS a real organization at one point, but I cannot confirm nor denie if they are around today, tho it is posible that some symbolince may reborn itself in a neo religious fashion that carries many of the old Illuminati beliefs and practices, it will be like Wicca, a new way for old beleifs..........Masons arent that secret anymore, just so yall know, we have a HEAVY amount of the lower ranks in the US Army, and probly the rest of the military its very popular

^ to add on to your last comment, Dan Brown explained the word satan as a word derrived from the arabic word "shaitan" which the book says means the devil, but which I know for a fact means wrong or evil-doer. Whereas the literal word for the devil is "Iblees". The church regarded them as evil-doers and so they hunted them down. Then again like I said before, a symbol can be interpreted in many ways.

BTW... the Masons were never a secret society, they were always out in the pubic as Masons.

Who knows if they still exist or if any of those symbols around us are "satanic" symbols. Like you said, symbols can be seen in many different ways. I just found the information facsinating because many mainstream rappers use the word "illuminati" in their songs. And many songs today have subliminal messages but then again, if you're searching for something you will find it. So, who knows if it's coincidence or purposely done.

Hehe... I know they're not real. They used to exist in some time in history, but they don't exist now. They also don't exist in Dan Brown's book. The church (or the main cardinal) uses their legend to convince people that god exists.

I have this argument with my friend every single day. there a fake organazation from a book, thats all. ive spent many hours painfully researching what simply isnt there. there never exsisted as phyisical beings only in fairytales
