i really want to work as a writer for video games, story boarding, character development, dialogue, that sort of stuff. My brother is introducing me to a man tomorrow that works in the video game industry as a voice actor, and is a pretty big name. my brother told me to have questions ready to ask him, and he might even give me an in into the video game industry, but i cant think of questions to ask other than the usual suspects

-what got you started in the industry
-what schools and programs should i look into
-what companies have you worked for, impressions

things like that. please help me come up with meaningful and usefull questions to ask

Hey, that sounds like a cool opportunity! The stories of video games are always my favourite aspect. That and killing me some baddies.

    Questions:

    - his favourite projects that he's worked on, and why they were special to him
    - what particular skills has he found to be valuable in his line of work
    - maybe ask about the hardest things he's found about the job, so you can see if they'd be things you're willing to deal with.

I'm not knowledgeable about video games, but try to ask some questions that showcase your familiarity with the subject, WITHOUT coming off as braggy. This is a chance for him to get to know you, but also for you to learn. Try to let it be a natural conversation, rather than a set of 20 questions. Good luck with your talk! It sounds neat.
