Hiya I dont believe in vampires or faieries but I do belive in spirits and ghosts. I feel that after we die those who die to early become gosts and stay that way untill the time comes when they were meant to die. I believe that when someone dies and they are a broken spirit, for example they killed themselves they become spirits untill there unfinished business is fullfilled.
The afterlife is waiting for all of us but for some people it takes longer to get there!

I believe that many people believe in things like ghosts and aliens and vampires, when in actual fact they have no logical reason for doing so.

I mean i've seen many things that other people would call "ghosts"....and i've met the odd vampire, psychic and normal blood types....it's all movie and book orientated though don't you all think?

For example, it's a common fact that when under the effects of certain substances, we humans can see things that to other people are not there. Which to me speaks volumes about the abilities of the brain to create sensory stimulus that is based on falsehood, or some psychological aberation. The most common example of this is the phenomenon known as the "Poletergiest". These so called "spirits" almost exclusively occur in households where a young girl is going through puberty, and in fact almost all the time they are linked to the girl...if she goes away..."they" go away. Many eminent Parapsycholigists, not least of all my good friends at the Edinburgh Koestler Parapsychology department have theorized that it's the girls themsevles who create the spirits and their behaviour in this critical development period to get attention through some as yet unknown form of energy that is most prevailent during puberty...food for thought eh?

I ain't a cynic by any means, like Fox Mulder I seek the truth, cause it is out there...just be careful of using terms and descriptions you have no reference or experience for.

Every thought form becomes a manifested projection of reality on some dimension/ plane.

I recommend seeing the movie "What the Bleep" if you are interested in these types of things.

Dracula excluded from the list, I believe.

Dracula was probably made up, but not by a movie director. Ever read the book Dracula by Bram Stoker? Vampires were a myth/legend WAY before movies were invented.

I believe that once upon a time, all that stuff existed. Now, I just wish it did. So, if someone showed me proof that they were a vampire/witch/fairy, whatever, then I'd not be shocked. It'd be cool as hell if they did. So, what I'm trying to say is that I don't think they exist, but I'm very open-minded about it.

Rigour mortis was the real explaination for the undead. Corpses would be buried quickly (one or two days after death) and the gases created by decomposition would cause the body to move, escaping gasses would create sounds heard from 'beyond the grave'.

Garic and steaks come into it because the steak released the already forming gasses before or a day or two after burial. This gas STINKS, hence the garlic.

Quite logical when you think about it.

well, i will think that selfrejected, i still rest my case that Dracula was a legend/myth, and was probably made up, like any other legend/myth was, thanks for backing me up Robyn hehe. I believe that there is magic, but sometimes i feel i don't want it to be proven, so i can still wonder, ya no?
