Finger Pricking?

OK so I am not sure whether this is the right forum for this post, but it seems right to me.

I have read a lot of posts on cutting/burning etc and peoples views on self harm. I just wondered whether anyone had ever sewn their fingers.

I'll explain, when I get really emotional I sometimes thread a needle and sew through the tops of my fingers, through the skin. Sometimes I leave the thread in there and other times I just pull it out real quick. Is that self harm?

Any way I just wondered if any one else has done/has thought of doing anything like this.

Sorry.. but if there is one thing I cant deal with, its needles.. Anything when you force pain on yourself is self harming.. Its when you damage your own body, on purpose.. Can anyone back me up?

Thats.. demented.. Not right at all.. I know people cut, and I have no problems with that.. But sewing your self together? Thats like something out of a horror movie.. Get help

does that actually hurt... i mean wen im doing my nails wen iwas younger i wodo liek cut the tops of my fingers but it didnt bleed at all... it was jsut like idk but it jsut came off and i fgured it was meaningless skin and i never liked how it looked... so like does sewing ur figures hurt??? does it bleed? I NEVER HEARD of that b4

Well when you're a kid you sometimes put a pin through the dead skin of your fingers to "amaze" your friends, when it doenst really hurt at all. I cant imagine threading my fingers together. Anything that inflicts pain upon yourself is self harm, and it's not a very healthy habit. That's interesting though... i've never heard of someone pulling needles through their fingers...
