    Untitled

Dreamers whisper among the shadows of birth,
do we control our destiny here on earth?
Or is life simply geared by fate,
where happiness and pain lie in wait

It may be hard for some to explain,
but in the end we must all obtain
    happiness, peace, a calm mind,
and give joy to those we find.

Each moment exists, then slips to past
Tomorrow's horizon approaching all to fast
Sands of hourglass fall between fingers
tick tock, the end of time lingers.

Our actions are watched by careful eyes
happiness cannot be held in our secrets and lies
Let us present our light for all to see
Being the best people that we can be

Honesty is not lost to all
Learning to be open before we fall,
to love with trust, regrets benign
for decisions are made by design.

So like a cup to wash the dust
from drying lips, we dreamers must
awaken the spirit within and rejoice
that our thoughts finally have a voice.

That is understandable, not everyone could write this time. It was fun and hopefully there will be more in the future.

Oh sorry! I thought he wanted a question mark after 'wait' but now I see he actually wanted it removed.

Impressive poem! Pretty strange to see how it flows even though many people wrote it.

I was surprised at how it flowed, I think maybe it was the limit on words per line and the rhyming part. Could be wrong but whatever it was, it worked.

Bragging a little now, lol. It is one of the best collabs I have seen in a while considering how many people wrote lines. I am still amazed.

I like that idea, once a month and yes there are so many possibilities to use. I bet there are some forms (forms scare people but not that difficult) that we could use, will do some research on that.

Thank you Lu. It was fun to do. (Back in the days, I organized a breakfast for 2,000 people to explain and soothe ruffled feathers over a construction project my company was doing so this was a piece of cake. lol)
