Witch craft is actually defined as any religion tht does not subscribe to monotheistic beliefs.

    Thats not the devil.

Its just not what the Catholics want.

Do research, dont just quote the bible.

The bible condones racism, sexism, and discrimination of all kinds, including discrimination against sexual orientation.

I believe that in itself is evil, and that God loves the witches just like he loves the gays, the Jews, the Catholics, and the New Age.

    Well put Kaitlin!

anywayz...caris...did the whole eye color change thing work? how long did the spell/chant thing take you before it worked???

haha! and i've had some bad experiences with mad spirits too...seriously people-dont mess around with stuff like that if you have no clue how to protect yourself if the need arises!

Paganism. Christianity screwed over paganism. Paganism wasn't witchcraft or curses, but it was painted as such. Most paganistic religions hold their ties to the earth closely, like Wicca (true Wicca, that is, is not a worship of a devil). Sidenote:
Bret/Bert, you sound like you've read The Story of B.

Paganism is the victim of Catholocism.

Paganism has been completely defaced by religion, as it was the main belief system of that time, which was the dark age.

Pagans worship nature spirits, not the devil.

    How threatening.

Its documented, do research and dare to look beyond the bible for answers.

I need not look further than the Bible to show it to you.

"The bible condones racism, sexism, and discrimination of all kinds, including discrimination against sexual orientation."

    Actually, it does not.

All men were created in God's image, that means no one person is more important than the other. So racism is not condoned.

God does not condone sexism either. Woman was made to serve man (Gen 2:18, 22, Col. 3:18-19). Colossians defines how a man should treat his wife, and vise versa. Sexism, not condoned.

As for your sexual orientation thing, God designed man for woman. Homosexuality is a sin (if you so wish to argue this, make another thread about it, or E-mail me. Don't expect me to respond to such a post here.) Read Rom. 1:24-28. It specifically says that homosexuality is wrong, and why people aren't just born gay. Read it before fighting me on it. Anyway, God never said to treat them any differently. Make of that what you will.

just so you guys know not all witch craft is bad....there is white magic...besides it's not only cursing people, or things like that....you guys are looking only on the negative sides....and for themad ghosts..encountered way too many...and man don't be the center of their anger!
but i still do it...not the magic (know some people though) i do the ouiji board.....learned not to disagree with spirits....(now my house is haunted....

What the bible says and how the bible indirectly address' the issues are totally seperate things, as are how the church operates these issues.

There are different levels of extreme views, and to a certain extent the bible condones all of those things, as do religions of different types, as do none religious people.

Its all wrong and God loves everyone, however it all has little to do with witch craft other than it discriminates against people who do not have monotheistic beliefs as well.

Dont get me wrong here, i do belive in god and go to chruch and study the bible. I can still agree that not everything in the bible is well lets say correct. Expecialy Genisis
Ex: They say Sarah lived to be around 800 year old. Now come on is that truely possible? I didnt think so. Most of the stuff written in the bible was writen from people who heard something from other people. Just like the game Telephone, the word might get inturpted into something more then it originaly was.

Back to the whole witch craft. I think theres a difference witch craft and lets say satenism. You can study or be interested in witch craft and still be in love with god. Yes i admit i own a Ouiji bored ( its for kicks and giggles) and hey for my birthday party i had fortune tellers come and do tarrot cards. I dont think i have sinned, and even if i did sin, God will forgive my sins, like its written in the bible.

    Well said Madison!
There are two types of witchcraft, black and white. Not all people do black magic. God created all in this world, so that must mean he created witchcraft. But even if someone did put a curse or hex on someone, does that mean they will go to hell? Putting a curse or a little black spell on someone is mean, yes, but there are lots of other things that peole do that are mean as well. Are the people in Iraq going to go to hell? Are the two girls that kicked the crap out of each other going to go to hell?...no, because God forgave them. So he will forgive a bit of white and black magic, i think anyway. I have done the ouija board, i have contacted spirits (man did they get psised, but some didn't), i have felt and heard a ghost and i have casted spells, to make me slimmer, to make my skin clear. I've done a lot of things like that, and God doesn't seem to be angry with me *touches wood*. I think it's not too bad to cast magic, black or white, but it's how great the black magic spell is....i mean, if you killed someonem then yuo would be punished, ya no? Anyhoo, that's what i think, if people don't agree with me, then that's fine, i respect other people's opinion.

lol im sure you're right friends...hehe

and most witches believe in the law of three...whatever you put out into the world comes back to you times three...so they dont put curses out or anything like that. modern withcraft isn't all animal sacrifice and blood and stuff like that (well most of it...like 99.9%) people just learned from their religions that it was bad-but you don't truly know what it's all about.

No. All scripture is God-breathed. God told men what to write down.

Well said Lipton!!!!! and yes, all magic is evil... the devil gives the power for it to work. Even something as simple as changing your eye color.

Magic is evil huh?...so if a non Christian person heals someone using alternative therapies, such as Reiki, which is very similiar to Wiccan healing arts of old...then they are evil....but if someone like the Christian Saint Padre Pio, who during his lifetime, healed hundreds of people using the same methods does it, it's ok?...the power of God working through a holy man?

Go read up on Saint Padre Pio...the man was a Witch of the highest order...or at least he would have been burned as one a century before had he not be a Monk....

Witchcraft is not evil, people are...and the small amount of information in the bible that condems the people who use personal means to devine the future as being the servant of Satan....well...i don't need to remind you all of how scared the Catholic Church was, and still is of people being independant of God...and hence them.

Oh and the bible does condone sexism, to suggest it does not is..well..not very smart.

Lipton, if i said you were created to serve me, wouldn't you find that kinda insulting?...given that we're both of the same species, and more of less the same capabilities?...

Lilith was created before Eve, but she was a cool lady and she wouldn't lay down for Adam the way he wanted her to sexually, and so she was thrown out of the garden of eden...the message to all women is plain i think...submit to your husband or be thrown out of favour with God...and then to use Eve as the one who ate the apple and messed everything up...i mean...Adam was in charge down there!!!..

    Sexist....SEXIST!!!.....

Don't anybody quote the bible back at me...if you want to discuss this issue...tell me your thoughts...and not the prefabricated ones used to delude people.

    ...eh...no offence.

No everything in the bible was written down from the words of god.. he wasnt the one who wrote it. Other people who heard from god, or did great things wrote it. Therefor other people wrote it..

Many people back then went through hard times, and decided to right them down. Many people even wrote parts of the same book in the Bible
    Check out these :
    Mark 6:30-44
    Matthew 14:13-21
    Luke 9:10-17

Cheers Friends....now get on with your task before i whip you.

Lipton?...though you are under no obligation to...aren't you going to respond to anything i said with something that is not a quote...and i mean your own words.

Are you still holding to the belief that the bible is not sexist? Or homophobic? Would you think any less of me if you knew i was Bi-sexual?...would my writing suddenly take on a sordid Satan inspired edge?

It's all quotes with you isn't it?..almost like your thoughts on this subject are not your own....but wait for it....THE CHURCHES!..yay you.

kevin, where the bloddy nads did you get that bit of info about lileth not having sex with adam so she got thrown out of eden. There was no lileth!! it spells it out perfectly how the human race was created. It was Adam, then Eve. The rest was up to them to multiply. If that was true, there would be no human race!!!

and why isn't lipton allowd to quote things. that's like having an argument but saying that they're not allowed to show proof of their beliefs. You quoted things in your topic. That's hipocracy.

as for the whole christian magic thing, you have to talk to God personally for him to help you, not just go print off some spell from the internet.

boys go screw your mommy...we need some girls...

  • Sierra Rae

lol thats hilarious...haha! and people-the human race couldn've had been populated by 2 people only. If a brother and sister have a baby-it has mental defects...if a son and mother have a baby or father and daughter have a baby...then it has serious defects. Therefore-if the human race was populated by 2 people we would all be a bunch of nuts! and while some people would argue that we are (hehe, i might be one of them! lol) it just isn't possible.

I think its fun to think that someone else can be in control other then god...even just a little bit, and whos to say there is a God? i really don't know whats up there, but its fun to think something is... God is just a imaginary friend for Adults...hes just a good though. thats my insight. sorry if you disagree or if i afend you...but there are more religons out there the christen or chathic (sorry i can't spell)

okay? god aint no imaginary friend..!!??!! n you cant say you kinda belive in him..its eitha you do or you dont! You cant just be in between sometimes..then you do then you dont!

  • Sierra Rae

oh really...well im in between. so it looks like i can be in between...i kinda believe in him, but i kinda don't. it's called uncertainty. and i believe god is an imaginary friend to...i never would've called it that but it makes sense. he's not there physically so im pretty sure by definition that means an imaginary friend. and there's no proof he existed in my opinion....because i think the bible is something that a bunch of drunk guys wrote one night when they were bord. (now that's an exaggeration of course...but most people i think will get what i mean by that.) Well okay...
