Just ask, the worst that can happen is that someone says no... big wow, next potential partner.

Dirrerent date venues helps, it's more interesting to go to museum than the movies, a picnic instead of dinner.

In the morning.. I'm tired and I've been wanting to go to bed and watch Hellboy and Bubba Ho-Tep for about 30 minutes... damned addictive forum.

If it was me, I would catch the person after school and walk him/her home. But i wouldn't say "Can i walk you home?" I would just say "Hi" and talk from there on. Then maybe at his/her home, after he/she knows you better, then i would pop the question, "Are you busy on dadada..." Lol, i doubt i would have the balls to do that, but that is how i think i would do it. 8)

Thinking about it I don't know a great deal about the dating game from a female perspective... I'd best leave things to the sisterhood.
