Glad you like and no problemo. I figure we could stand to broaden our vocabularies!

I'm going to add a little treat to the original post...

I've been saying that word wrong for years.

At least in my head... I don't know that I've actually used it in conversation...

Finally, haha!? Didn't I come up with the idea yesterday?

Oh oh oh, I have a good word for tomorrow. I can't wait to post it.

    Ear-rask-i-ble. Most specifically, I pronounced the "c."

I think there are probably scores of words that I've read tons of times, but have no actual idea how to say. For example, I pronounced "epitome" "epi-tohm" for a good number of years.

I love the thread, Jane. I hope to see many participate. this should be a good exercise, not to mention, fun.

Sentence: I can be irascible when backed into a corner.

    Poem:

This is just a two minute nonsense, but then I thought it might encourage some to post something as well.

    Irascible
    ----------

    I admit
    I've often enjoyed
    stepping on
    your tail, ruffling
    your feathers

    you were always
    irascible
    and I liked
    unpredictability,
    raw emotions,
    stormy weathers
    and sheet-thin
    grounds

    like the time
    I smiled,
    -for the second time-
    at the man three
    steps away
    he blushed
    and you
    hissed
    -like an angry cat-
    before quietly retreating
    to lick at
    your wounds

    and inform me
    that I am nothing but
    a nuisance,
    a child

    that your action are
    brotherly, noble

    - while waving with
    your hand in frustration -

    that you had
    sisters.

    I laughed
