Valedico needs YOU!

Okay, so the rules of the fourth round of my contest state that it will be the members of P&Q who decide the fate of these four poets. I am going to post 4 haiku chains about each of the seasons below and you have 24 hours from 16:00 British time to get me a good and varied collection of results/comments.

I would like each of you to award 4 points to what you think is the best, 3 to the second best, 2 to the third and 1 to what you consider the 'worst' poem. And please state your reasons why. You can be as brief or as detailed as you like.

I want to, again thank every participant for getting their fantastic poems in with time left over. I received them in an appropriate order too! ;)

Poem 1: Autumn/fall
Poem 2: Winter
Poem 3: Spring
Poem 4: Summer

1) Fall of Dusk
Faint forests ablaze
dripping blood, red and yellow
betrayed by Summer

Silent silhouette
reflects a dying promise
to return next year

Abandoned, by warmth
Autumn dusk brings certain death
and lifeless they fall

2) Winter-down
A leaf curls like ash
wafting downward dry and grey,
tight like a dead hand.

The fallow earth mourns
beneath the gauzy snowfall-
still the cleanest shroud.

A spare ghost of green:
smothered under frozen soil
seeds quicken and wake.

I
vibrant skin of earth
blushing 'neath the perfumed sky -
roses on the bloom

folks in high spirits
off over the field with grin -
soft rain falls gently

III
a frog taking break
sits atop a mountain peak -
bench with mirror pond

4) Leisure
silk orange ribbons
secrets hidden in seashells
sea maiden's cracked lips

a water-cooled shade
sinking in coconut shells
islands still unborn

quaking butterflies
birds rise in fluttery clouds
towards winking sun.

I haven't had a chance to be online on my laptop for ages. I'll post results when I can. I've only had like...3 people get back to me too :/ more wouldve been appreciated!

I'd agree. I'd just post what you have unless there are ties. It'd be nice to keep this contest going so the next can start.
