Poetry Forums

Hello all!

As some of you may have noticed, we've been getting good activity over in the Poetry Forums surrounding the weekly "Life of a PnQ Poet." Some of it is silly and some of it is enlightening, and I want to encourage people to keep coming forward and volunteering to be questioned! You can head over there now and see how it's not too scary.

There is also another running thread series called "Life of a Famous Poet," which ended with Michael N's thread on Gibran. I'm now looking for more people who would like to sign up to write about their favorite poet! All you have to do is start the thread. You can give your thoughts on their writing style, talk about how they influenced you, post some of their poems... it's really up to you, and you can make of it what you want.

If people are interested in getting their name in for either of these threads (or if they have other ideas for poetry-related discussions!) please make a note below. Thanks!

I would need a bit of time, so i write how they influence me, the very 1st poem they ever wrote. And the one considered as my favorite. With some analysis and personal resumes.

Robert Frost was actually the very first Life of a Poet spotlight, but neither Shakespeare nor Maya Angelo have been done or accounted for. Either sounds great.

Welllllll.... this got buried under a dogpile of dubious activity.

Pro: activity is good, and it's nice to see the boards active.
