For those who don't catch my drift: when you ignore certain messages, it will discourage the poster and eventually they will find another platform to do what they need to do( and no longer bother us)

I agree with bob. When I go shopping I just avoid the departments that do not interest me. If you don't like a topic start another one. Wouldn't walmart be boring without variety Some of the poems inspired by these discussions will always be as dear to me as the social aspect of communicating in a forum

There is serious discussion, and there is repetitive posts and threads that should have been PM's, and you all know it.

Plus, it's almost impossible to ignore the loldrama. You click on what looks like a nice "elect a mod" thread, and you're suddenly thrown into soap opera land. Sure you could leave the thread and ignore it, but what if you actually want to vote, or be involved? Any decent person would feel they needed to read the whole thread to be informed about their choice.

So, in a way we are semi forced to read everyones crap, if their poop is contained in genuine threads.

I was saying to Nor before that I think all the drama and accusations and general stupidity that exists within these threads is ridiculous. I'm honestly unbothered that you find my sentiment meaningless, it was a tongue in cheek remark relating to the hilariously facepalm worthy drama that exists here. It shouldn't really exist...But hey, I don't know about anyone else here but this website isn't my life. I like (most) of the people here and I come here to post poems and share what I deem appropriate advice to poets needing/wanting feedback.

This isn't a regime. I can't open a single thread without seeing people flinging insults at each other and stirring up drama. It's one of those 'get a life' kind of things.

That's true. Danny was telling me how people here take stuff too seriously, that this is just a website and things of that sort. I told him it's a matter of principle, he changed subjects. we talked about homework instead xD
