All Members of PnQ

After having private discussions with a few members as well as reading the forums, it is obvious that there is dissent among the population of PnQ. One member in particular, Nor, brought up an idea for us moderators to use, and that is a suggestion thread.

We moderators have agreed to start this thread, but there are a few rules that will be strictly enforced:

    1) You may only post suggestions, up to 3 in one post.

    2) Member bashing is not tolerated in any way.

    3) Please number your suggestions.

    4) Any post that is not a suggestion will be deleted instantly.

    5) A second thread may be opened up as discussion, but once again member bashing is not tolerated and will be dealt with accordingly.

    6) You are allowed to post reasoning beneath each suggestion, however it must be kept short and clear enough to understand.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS JUST A SUGGESTION THREAD TO GET YOUR THOUGHTS OUT IN THE AIR. WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT THESE WILL BE CARRIED OUT.

ALSO NOTE: Opinions and discussion are not allowed in this thread, a second thread may be opened up. We will not hesitate to delete any post that does not follow these rules, as well as the rules of poems-and-quotes.com

    1. Suggestion: ask members to stop creating threads that leave others clueless as to what they are about/ serve no other purpose then to have the attention on themselves.( so obvious, often!)

Reasoning: it annoys the hell out of me (and others, I assume)

What this will solve: having something meaningful and fun to look at/ participate in when you open up the messenger forum page and less SPAM!

1: Suggestion: Use the Feedback/Suggestion forums for feedback and suggestions(?). Does this serve a separate purpose? Just wondering!

EDIT: AJ explained to me that it was so a place for suggestions was more noticeable and accessible to people. Thanks, AJ!

Suggestion: I think that the mods should create rules before they try something experimental on the main boards.

Reason: It would make it easier for us as members to know what we can and can not do in a thread when we are posting replies or answers. :]

Edit: If you do do this and I just don't see them then you can just delete my post! :]

    1. Less editing of posts and a change in the rules that regulate locking threads, before reaching 100 posts, into per OP's or the person(s) it's addressed at request or at least after they have their say.

    2. Practicing a more friendly way towards members when there is some sort of disagreement by asking what's wrong or how can you help or even for solutions instead of taking it like a personal attack or considering it drama.

    3. I know that Mods are supposed to act like one team and once something is voted on and enforced by majority then the others who even voted against it must support it in public. But I was thinking if perhaps everyone makes their opinion clear and that X for example wasn't much in favor of the decision but they have to follow it because it's what the majority agreed on, perhaps that would make you connect more with others, it won't be much of us against them but just a matter of different opinions.
