Sorry, the thread was locked and I still have things to air out that were said about me. |

Joe, I understand the need to defend yourself, yes just as I would and have when people have said something about me. My point was directly that there was no need in posting the thread to begin with, why does there always have to be drama surrounding when a mod leaves? No, not just you in particular, others also. |

I had multiple deaths as well. Joe, I in no way have trouble sympathizing with the pain of your losses, but you have been mostly gone for 7 months and recently popped in to say you'd be gone for another few weeks... with things endlessly popping up to keep you from mod duties, why cling onto the title? You're too busy. |

"Heck you had just posted the thing about Glenn Beck and people will see your name doesn't have the little red letters on it anymore (someone was sure to adress you about it) then you could address them personally." |

Joe, I don't think anyone really wanted you gone. My best guess is that they wanted you to be more committed, but you could not find a way to do that, and that is understandable, you are in your twenties and busy with making a future for yourself. |

Haha Ingrid, is that a threat that if I continue then magically there will be no members left on this site? You really crack me up. |

Amanda, I am not saying Joe doesn't have a point, he may even be right ( hence my remark about winning) but point is, he made all members a party in this and I feel it should have been discussed behind closed doors. Many members lurk on here and leave without even stating why they left. How can they have confidence in a moderating team that hangs out their dirty laundry like this? You cannot have authority over a crowd like this. |

Shut down is what we need, just like the government needs it. Can't you see, it's plain and simple, or is that too simplistic for you? |

Joe was at least one of the most honest mods we have ever had. Please if you have ever been a mod do not try to wear a shoe that does not fit. What I am saying is that mods and members alike go through denial. I am sitting in front of many meaningless awards. Would it not be judgemental of me to assume that any mod was stripped of their status like illuminate or even suspended their own account and we are left to wonder if they took something we said the wrong way? |

I was trying to refrain from posting in here but I guess I will voice my opinion of the matter or rather how I feel about all this. I for one think that, Yes, Joe has been gone for while, but he has come on here and done some little things here and there which do add up and does anyone really know how much time it does to do coding? It's not that simple. |

I would not compare a modship with the presidency but on the internet ours has been tried and convicted of treason and I don't see why mods should hide behind closed doors the way bishops and popes are accused of coverups from protecting preditors to inactivity. We can say we are only as strong as our weakest link without judging all members by the demotions that the head mod does not even agree with is likely to be done by the most shallow members. |

As far as I know Sherry is because I spent a little time in the penalty box with her trying to protect what is left of my reputation of being a compliant member. |

It is not what we know that hurts us. It is what we think we know. Many times we forget that the only data we have about the nature of the person behind the screen name is provided by that entity. An April fools joke is not a lie. Nor was the multiple accounts of members on this site when it was legal . We cannot deny cyber emotion though many believe it is unreasonable |

It's hilarious that sharing info from the mods forums 7 months ago, making a public apology, and never repeating the mistake is being compared to a mod who stopped doing his job. Joe didn't "say" the wrong thing or make a mistake. He stopped doing the work. Period. Without any hint at becoming active again, we repeatedly told him we didn't want him on the squad if he didn't have time. He ultimately responded to that by demoting himself and pinning us as horrible people, which you guys are gobbling up. He didn't have time! It's a job. If you don't have time, you can't do it. Very simple really but some of you are making it dramatically complex. |

The present team is handling and will be able to handle everything juuust fine. I feel very confident about our group! All the new features we've added are totally manageable and it's ok if they haven't brought much more activity. It's nice that members are being given the opportunity to participate in a bigger variety of activities. I'm not as pessimistic as some and I think eventually PnQ will spread its wings and take off (again) in glorious splendor.... like a phoenix! Yeah! |

Well Joe I'm sad also that you are no longer a mod. I've always had respect for the way you moderated, we have helped each other on occasion, and share similar views on some topics. |

I concur with Amanda. If you're going to hold the same "standards" for all the mods, then Jane, you should no longer be a moderator. |
AJ

Jane, is very active, she actually helps out. There is no reason she should step down. |

Wrong 'standard' Britt., I'm talking about the rules and regulations that are governed. If I am at fault for not being 'active' that's one 'standard' but Jane went way past that and broke a rule/regulation which went with out punishment. |

Illum was demoted because he didn't even come on for months at a time. I came on and did stuff that I could through a difficult time and got shunned for doing such and was held guilty for a rule that doesn't even exist but was made apparently to start a case against me. |

Well I just told someone, that these days he been active (insanely) i was a bit away and I came back and saw his posts all over the site..so I wonder if that's a guarantee that after his obstacles are gone, if he would be active behind the scenes now too..? |
