Need suggestions

Hey there all ppl...i have a problem..kinda personal...i want your suggestions & Valuable Advice

My problem is that...im in love wid a Muslim guy, but im Hindu. .i live in india & he is in South Africa, we met online, he loves me alot & of-course me too, & he wants to marry me, but my family is against our marriage,,just becoz of our different Religions....i dunt know wat to do...i really love him alot... ):

Well, being 18, im not the authority on anything in particular, but im sorta conflicted on this one.

its difficult for me to believe its a good idea for obvious reasons, youve never met him in the physical world, and youve only known eachother for 9 months

theres also the prospect that you should follow your heart, and do what you feel is truly right for you.

so im gonna say that it might be a relationship that needs to mature more. visit each other, see what you think of eachother in person before you decide to marry.

and be carefull.

He would.. sort of HAVE to speak her language to convey his want to marry her.

i dont think you should drop him like a hot potato, but at least try to get to know him better before taking a definite and long term course of action.

Poetess...actually he is indian..but living over there from last 2-3 years,,, & i talked to him twice-thrice in a week on phone...you're ryt to some extent,,,that net relations doesnt work out..but wat about Heart?..my emotions...im damn worried about myself...wats gonna happen..?

You know what you reminded me of... Juda Akbar. I don't know if you've seen the movie, but it's a true story and it's proof that two people with different religions can live together... love doesn't know religion, age, colour or race.
As for the two of you getting married, I agree on it on the contrary of what everyone else is saying. Because I know the traditions and rules behind both your backgrounds and usually it's just marriage straight away after a couple of meetings where you ask questions to each other. But I still think you should meet in real life before jumping into marriage. You know him now only cyber wise, sometimes reality is very different.
As for your parents, I think you should talk to them seriously about it all after the two of you know each other in real life and after you meet his parents and he meets yours.

Tradition is beautiful but it can be a prison. Love can overcome.

I was in love with Abby, then I met her and realized her arm hair and freakishly long toes, were going to be a problem in sandal/vest infested Scotland. So I drugged her and put her on the first 3rd world flight of out my country.

A few face to face dates are pretty sound advice. One with with your friends/family, one with just the two of you.
