National Day of Prayer

Many of you may or may not know this, but tommorrow, May 5, Cinco De Mayo, is also the NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER.

Not really sure what I want people to say in this forum, I just wanted people to see it so it would remind them what tommorrow is.

I agree that it can only be good that we meditate on the Higher Power of our own understanding for a peace beyond understanding.

It seems like a little known holiday. But then again, if we were to look at every day, I'm sure we'd realize we're missing out on a lot of fascinating celebrations.

Tomorrow (today?) is also my sister's birthday. And a prayer day. And Cinco de Mayo. Now the parties will never stop!

Yup, you got that right Narphangu, like you said, if we look at it closely, everyday is a celebration, if theres none, make one like- IM ALIVE DAY or something LOL....

I'd like to pray for my 81 year old Grandfather who is still in the hospital from his wreck, my Grandma who has been out of town for my Grandpa.
I'd like to pray that my scores for my exams are good.
I'd like to pray for Japan and Alabama.

Hallucinostic, haha! Partayy! We really should embrace everyday. If there's still air to breathe, then the day is worth it. :) But I also have a calendar around somewhere that has a holiday for everyday. The typical, like Cinco de Mayo, and then the obscure, like "wear underpants on your head" day.
