i believe that aliens exist. i've seen a few ufos, and my older sister has seen an alien. the Bible never said that God didn't create other life forms, and He doesnt have to tell us. i think they're real though.

Despite the fact that humans would like to think that we are the most intelligent things in the Universe, I highly doubt it and I think its very naieve to think that we are.

Plus UFO sightings and stories of aliens have been around since the cave men days. There has to be something to it if its been around that long.

Leslie Halasz “Chariots of the gods”
Written by, Erich Von Daeniken 1974
    Excellent book on ancient astronauts.
A movie by the same name from Erich
was also released, I have rented it at
Blockbusters. It’s based on the book,
    check it out.

Is this the right forum? for,
    [Meet the Aliens members] too.
Cause if it is ok, I got some wild
    stories to post.

ha, nice bogie. bring on the wild posts, as long as they aren't profane. i am not an alien member, i am a vampire member. just thought i'd let ya know. anyway, i'll stop wasting your life. ciao~lyn

LOL “vampire” good cause I have green blood,
alien you know. Not x rated but x files >>>>>

Living in Las Vegas, Nevada and with great
knowledge on civilian and military aircraft,
being a Air Force brat and a amateur astronomer.
I can tell you being close to the Nevada test site,
I have observed unexplained stuff in the skies
and around the Las Vegas area, unknown craft
maneuvering way beyond covenantal or exotic
know aircraft. I have seen four sightings I can’t
explain. Twice in my back yard while using a
telescope and high power binoculars, we were
looking at Saturn and Jupiter when a light out
of the south heading north got our attention.
Moving faster then any satellite and way faster
then a jet, it moved half way across the sky and
then looked as if it stopped but instead it had
gone straight up and dimmed out of sight. At
first I thought maybe a remote unmanned craft
but the speed I think was outside that envelope.
Moving from the horizon to half way across the
sky in at most 10 seconds. Aircraft never come
from out of the south. They set up finial approach
before the city flying over Lake Mead heading
from east to west into McCarran airport. Military
air craft approaching Nellis Air Force base stay
out north very rarely over Las Vegas city air space.
The other two sightings took place out side L.V.
at near by dry lake beds, one at Rachel Nv. near
the test site by dreamland, over the hill at area 51.
But that’s another post cause this one is way to long.
Then again if I told you I would have to kill you. LOL
Dang!!! I have not seen any aliens ever, but looking
forward to it. Now, do you have a story to share?

  • Kevin

Pah, Aliens and God...put them in the same boat i say.

If they exist, and they have some amazing knowledge to share with us...then cool..we are never gonna find them unless they want to be found...and so we should just get on with studying each other.

    N = R* fp ne fl fi fc L
    What is the Drake Equation?
Frank Drake's own current solution to the Drake Equation estimates 10,000 communicative civilizations in the Milky Way.

    where,
N = The number of communicative civilizations
R* = The rate of formation of suitable stars (stars such as our Sun)
fp = The fraction of those stars with planets. (Current evidence indicates that planetary systems may be common for stars like the Sun.)
ne = The number of Earth-like worlds per planetary system
fl = The fraction of those Earth-like planets where life actually develops
fi = The fraction of life sites where intelligence develops
fc = The fraction of communicative planets (those on which electromagnetic communications technology develops)
L = The "lifetime" of communicating civilizations

An entity in his own right.

  • Bret Higgins

The Drake Equation alone is reassuring enough. The fact that probablilty factors for so many forms and civilizations is interesting. What needs to be explored next in the Drake Equation is the probability of faster than light travel.

Granted this is going to cut the possibility of us being visited by little green men, greys, bugs, and any other alien species into shreds but then that's really not a pressing issue, is it?

  • Dani Ward

well, i just wanted to say, if there are alien civilizations, i believe there are, then they wouldn't necessarily need the Goldilocks Conditions, as they're called. scientists keep saying alien life would need these conditions, the conditions that are needed for our lives to be sustained, yet we don't know that. some bacterias and other things live in very extreme temperatures and conditions. like living in molten lava rock. or in freezing rock. also, brett i read the Ender's series by Orson Scott Card, if you haven't read it i won't spoil it. so e-mail me about it. it has some faster than light travel theory in it. i'd like to discuss it with you if you don't mind. got to go to class. take care. ciao~lyn

    Speaking of light speed?

Bob Lazer is the person who told the story
of alien space craft in the Nevada desert
near area 51at Papoose dry lake bed [S4].
His job was to reverse engineering alien technology
the propulsion systems specifically. The space
craft did not use faster then light speeds for
interstellar travel but by generating an intense
gravitational field and using that field to distort
space/time, bringing the “destination to the source,” and allowing you to cross many light years of space in little time and without traveling in a linear mode near the speed of light. He was told that the aliens came from the fourth planet of the binary stellar system Zeta Reticuli 2, and also happens to be the aliens in the famous Barney and Betty Hill first reported alien abduction.

P.S. if you want more information do a web search on Bob Lazar.

arent we aliens? if there are others out there in far away space .....actually i hope there is. Its kind of wierd if its only earth that is to be full of life. but then again i duno
i've never seen an alien..cept me heha

  • Bret Higgins

Bob Lazar is an enigmatic entity to me. Some things he says I agree on right off the bat, but some stuff.. well, it makes me consider whether anything he says is true at all.

And we are surrounded by aliens... birds, fish and insects are all a different species to us and therefore alien.

A to B gravitonic travel is certainly feasible so long as you can stop the gravitational forces away from the crew compartment. Like folding a sheet of paper to reach the other side... great in principle, but actually doing so safely is going to take a level of physics we can still only dream of.

  • Bogie

All right, I feel the same about bazer Lazer.
“stop the gravitational forces away from the crew”
I haven’t seen or thought about the crew next to
The amplifiers dang! More cool stuff , what do you think
about “zero point energy” as a means of propulsion
    in space travel?

Aliens would be cool, think about it the universe is sooo big and we r one tiny planet in one insignificant galaxy, I bet theres people on other worlds asking the same question
