Zombies!!???!!

So who out here believes one day we WILL have a zombie apocalypse?!?!? I wanna know!!!! and if so will yu survive?!?

Apocalypse yah, but Im not pretty sure bout zombies, lol... but I think its real fun to shoot some of them like what we often see in the movies. and helping you blasting their heads is that pretty leading of yours, awesome! theres always a leading lady yknow. haha! not that cool though if you get bitten, by the zombie i mean, lol.

I think there is a zombie apocalypse already, if travelling on any public bus late at night is anything to go by.

I have 4 Zombie plans, and I love each one the same.

Zombies actually arent much of a threat. firstly everything that allows humans to be at the top of the food chain (intelligence), zombies have lost, so very quickly they would become the natural prey of pretty much every large creature. even on a microscale bugs would be stripping bits off and laying eggs in there so much the zombie would decompose really quickly.

also zombies cant take a lot of heat. put a zombie in a desert and it bakes, dries out, and collapses. muscles dont work when they are in jerky form.

also zombies cant take the cold. as they froze at night and thawed in the day they would suffer extreme amounts of freezer burn, and they would slowly dry out and crystallize.

zombies dont have a central nervous system. they cant feel and dont really avoid pain. this might seem like a plus at first, but imagine if every paper cut, scratch, bruise, scrape, broken bone, etc... you ever had inflicted upon you had never healed? zombies have this problem, they would just accrue damage until no longer fnctioning.

also they are clumsy, and the USA is full of natural zombie barriers. very quickly piles of zombies would begin piling up in rivers, mountains, and at the bottoms of cliffs.

also every human being owns a gun, and would use it to kill zombies given the chance. even people in the cities probably would go to the tops of their office buildings and throw printers and microwaves down at the hordes that have been neatly filed up below them in the streets.

we have an airforce and militarily trained army. the end of a marksmen's barrel can be more than 325 yards from danger.

biting is a terrible way to spread disease, it just is. remember that time a dog got rabies in california nad it spread all across the US? no? oh right, it never happened because biting is a terrible way to spread disease.

lastly zombies were not made evolutionarily well. any time a zombie needs to eat or reproduce it needs to go toe to toe with its primary predator. it also has a tendency to accidentally eat its offspring in the cases of corpses that havent turned yet.

...the robot apocalypse however....

A theater in my college town once posted a question on Facebook.

this weekend's midnight movie is DAWN OF THE DEAD. The question is: where would you hide out during a zombie apocalypse?"

I got a little carried away.

"You don't hide out in a zombie apocalypse.

You spend a minimal amount of time packing warm clothing, non-perishable food items, a tarp to catch dew and rainwater, a few empty jars, and a selection of long and short range weapons. Then you... leave the city as fast as possible and travel into places of low population density. Fargo is almost ideal in that it's sort of an island of people in the middle of thousands of miles of nothing. Southward traveling would be good to combat the cold winters, but if you have the chops and skills to survive them in the north, you'd be a step ahead of the zombies who would likely succumb to lack of shelter. Personally I'd prefer a north-eastern course into lake country. There are many places in Minnesota only accessible by boat. Assuming that zombies have no canoeing skills, you take the waterways deep into the northland, where zombie hordes are unlikely and a few stragglers can be dealt with accordingly. Zombies are not likely to range too far out of the city, which holds a veritable buffet of human flesh (provided my people hiding in the city). Once you find appropriate shelter, THEN you hide out, and wait for the city to fall and the zombies to overpopulate to the point of (human) food shortage. A few months should suffice, providing the virus isn't airborne.

If you get trapped in the city, try to find combustibles and go out in a fiery blaze of glory, taking as many zombies as possible down with you."

TSI125, lol you are assuming a whole lot about zombies there buddy, most of which doesn't make a whole lot of sense. You need to watch the show "the walking dead" and then watch "shawn of the dead".

If a zombie plague started, most people wouldn't notice til was too late. How many moaning stumbling drunks do you see every other night in major cities around the world? How many pale faced dead lifeless people do you see every morning going to work/college?

Honestly, if you think about it...there would be thousands of zombies before anyone had a mind to raise a gun to shoot.

I think biting isnt a very conspicuous means by which to spread a disease. maybe in a mosh pit that would go unnoticed for a while.

also im going with the classical view of zombies, not catering to hyper specific instances in holly wood movies.

Well Tara, my plan is still the same, what we talked bout, plus do things like what Ash Williams did on Evil Dead 3: Army of Darkness, yknow, chainsaw arm, but i wont cut off my hand of course, shotgun, and specially that somewhat supercharged make-shift kick-undead-ass car with the propeller thing, groovy ride, haha!... man, i love that movie. :D

I LOVE THEM!!! i've seen a lot of them haha i will always recoomend the original halloweens not the newer one from a few yrs ago i mean its gud but the originals are ALWAYS BETTER!!!!!!
