Nor & Mel's Poetic Challenge

Welcome all to our Poetic Challenge!

This challenge will consist of FOUR ROUNDS. All entries will be judged by the judging panel we agreed upon, which consist of three lovely & honest judges. Prepare for elimination, constructive criticism and most of all fun. We will keep this simple for all and with Nor & I both being hands-on everything should run nice and smoothly. Knowing the two of us we will probably have some surprises here and there so stay tuned and enjoy the poetic roller coaster.

How the challenge will work is points will be accumulated during each round, therefore each participant will be judged on overall performance. Those eliminated will be notified via pm however this will depend on how many participants we have, so basically you are fighting to keep your head above water and each round will count!

`A two day period will be given for the judging and it has been worked out that this contest will finish on the 31st.

ROUND 1:

Round 1 is FREE! Yes that's right it's open to anything. You're probably thinking where is the challenge in that but the truth is Nor and I decided we wanted to receive the best you have within the first round. Show us you and what your poetry is made of.

Please everyone make sure you get the poems in on time. Mel's 12th of July is pretty much everyone's 11th (she's in the future!). So check the link and make sure you compare it to your time to know when exactly is the deadline for you. It probably won't be the 12th (unless you're in Australia).

Also, I'd like to add that we won't be having bonus points (to make the results as fair as possible) you have 3 days to get your poem in so take your time. However, we'll be having Random Readers Reviews on poems, where I'll be pm'ing well known members during these three days and asking them to comment on 2 or 3 random poems. It wouldn't affect the judging in anyway, just more feedback for everyone. Hopefully!

Nano, it will on the 11th night for us (late Noon/evening for those in the states) you just need to see how many hours are between you and Mel and calculate it.

The last time Nor sent me some we had received 10. Though she might of gotten more within the last few hours.

I would encourage not waiting for the last minute to send them in because I've already started gathering the reviews! So the earlier you send them in, the more feedback you get! Good luck everyone!
