I have eaten much of this deliciousness, and not just over there. There are several Mediterranean restaurants in most cities of more than a few hundred thousand. Look for Greek ones as well, since they often serve the same fare. |

This is really off topic, but yes: Steak & Ale Pie, Scotch Eggs & five kinds of Ale. I love San Antonio's Riverwalk! |

You CAN cook it? So are there foods you aren't allowed to cook or consume?? |

Ohh haha. I was gonna say that would suck if you could only have certain foods. |

Hmmm... Greek food. I spent last semester living in Greece, and let me just say that there is nothing quite so tasty as tzatziki. |

I'd have to really believe in the cause to be able to fast. A moment ago, I was thinking, "Maybe I should try fasting too..." but then I thought, "I just bought groceries yesterday," and now I'm going to make myself a biiiiiiig breakfast. |

Jane I was thinking the same thing. In my religion we fast when we really want to speak with God on another level, it's giving something up while asking for something through prayer. I'm dealing with something that would result in fasting right now, but I have groceries that will spoil soon. I'm like CRAP! I do the SAME THING all the time. I love food, it's so so so hard. |

It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't love food. Lol. In high school I battled with an eating disorder, and mentally now I think fasting scares me more than anything, even though its not the same thing. |

I had a battle with anorexia for two years in high school, after I got help, I get nervous if I don't eat much, I'm so afraid that I will fall back into that disaster. I started overeating in an attempt to prove to myself I was better, and ended up gaining a ton of weight. It's really a stupid struggle! If I miss a meal, I easily lose a pound (I fluctuate a good 5-7 lbs a day) and so it freaks me out when I drop a bunch of weight at once, I know its due to not eating the way I should be. It's hard to explain. Big ramble is over lol |
