Pictureless and Why?

Hey, i was thinkin the other day and I wanted to put my picture on my profile, but for some reason Im afraid that someone will look at my pic and decide not to read what I wrote. Or be biased against me, something of that nature. What do you all think? Am I overreacting? What?

Put it up if that's what you want.

No one with any sense is going judge your work by looks alone.

In fact if anyone looks at my pic or pic or anyone elses and decides not to read it, good. Blinkered minds make for blinkered opinions.

thanks. I read ur profile and that fact that you've only been writing since january and have already written 25 poems. Amazing. Ive been writing since dec and only wrote 10. but hey, they kick ass as well. keep it up

I agree with everyone else. If you want to put up a picture, put one up. I don't think there are many biased people on this site. A picture never stopped me from reading a poem, if anything I enjoy the poet more, being able to put a face to the writing.

If people would judge you and not read your poems because of your picture you dont want their commentary anyway, they are obviously shallow and an idiot. Maybe thats a good way to weed out valuable opinion.

I hope that they wont but people can be and are so shallow these days!

I hope people don't only care about the pictures.... because I'd be attracting quite a lot of pedophiles...
