Coco Chanel (19 August 1883 --> 10 January 1971) was a pioneering French fashion designer whose modernist philosophy, menswear-inspired fashions, and pursuit of expensive simplicity made her an important figure in 20th-century fashion. She was the founder of one of the most famous fashion brands, Chanel. Her extraordinary influence on fashion was such that she was the only person in the couturier field to be named on Time 100: The Most Important People of the Century.

I can't not express just how true I believe those first two quotes really are. When I read the first quote I just had to share the first quote with my friends on Facebook.

In relation to the first quote, I believe more so that it is how a person carries/presents themselves that is what people remember most. What cloths they wear are just added BAM.

Often times the way a person is dressed reflects how they feel or their personality, intentional or not. I like to think my sense of fashion has evolved since my early years and that the way I dress compliments my persona (the way others perceive me and most importantly how I perceive myself). If I'm feeling confident, happy and outgoing I'm likely going to dress in that way (that is how I perceive it). Others will likely perceive it that way as well because my cloths are a reflection of that. And not only that but because they will be able to sense it and see it because of the way I carry/present myself.
