Lol saccharine, what poet with a thesaurus doesn't already know this word?

My friend's boyfriend kept calling someone we know "obsequious" yesterday. Good word for WOTD maybe.

    I KNEW IT, SIBBY!

I couldn't find it, though, so I just shirked the feeling of deja vu. I'm glad you called me on that, though. I'll put 2 up tomorrow to make it up.

"Lol saccharine, what poet with a thesaurus doesn't already know this word?"

    PFFFFT. Thesaurus. Pfft.

Haha, it rang a bell so I did a "search forums" and just looked through the results. I figured either it had been done before, or I was psychic. I believe "fart" has also been covered, in case you were thinking of that.

    I wouldn't worry about doing 2, Jord.

    I forgot about this one.

Why are there so many different ways to say it? I say SAHK-uh-reen?

    It's that Mainer accent... ; )

    I always pictured it "Satch-eh-reen"

    I pronounce it sak-uh-rahyn.

It just has to do with dialects - European vs. North American. Also the satch- in Sibby's pronunciation is her own flavor. :)

Ayuh, it must be tha Mainah in me.... sounds wicked good that way though.

    Nah Sibs. You're just strange.
    It's definitely pronounced Sak-cha-riyne.

You said "Ayuh." That reminds me of Stephen King. <3

So clearly, there is no real pronunciation for this word. Ha! I don't believe it actually exists.
