Does Hell Exist?

    Does Hell exist?

Once you go there can you get out?

    Does the Devil govern Hell?

If you dont believe in the Bible, how do you get to Hell?

Does that eliminate reincarnation from the picture?

    Discuss the possibilities:

    I dont need help.

I dont believe in Heaven or Hell either.

I just want to get some debates going, the pointless posts are getting old and boring. The God topic at least gets people fired up and thinking.

Here's an idea, Kaitlin. First, commit suicide, see the afterlife, then come back and tell us how it was! That would be great!

I realize you're trying to make a debate, but on a subject like this, there are those that do believe, and those that don't. Personally, I'm sick of all these posts coming up, because that's what it all boils down to. Do you believe in the Bible or not? What do you believe in? Do you believe in anything at all?

As per your questions that you have. I believe in the Bible, and the Bible tells us:

    "Does Hell exist?"
    Hell exists.

"Once you go there can you get out?"
You can't get out. God gave you plenty of warning.

    "Does the Devil govern Hell?"
There is no governor in Hell. There is no need for one. What's the worse that can happen in Hell, that already doesn't exist?

"If you dont believe in the Bible, how do you get to Hell?"
Just because you don't believe in something, doesn't mean it's not real. Just because one might not believe in Hell, does not exempt them from it.

"Does that eliminate reincarnation from the picture?"
In my mind, and in the essence of the Scripture, reincarnation isn't even a topic.

    hey
    i hate debates
    but i'm confussed about the
dieing thing would you remember afterwards and if not then it's like punishment for something you diddn't do right

    Valid points to everyone.

I dont believe in Hell, Heaven, or the Bible, so therefor I have no comments on any of these posts.

However will you still get sent to Hell for sinning if you repent your sins and ask for his forgiveness? Is every action forgiveable? Are some things on the sin scale worse than others?

  • Shy

not if you completly with all your heart meanit

-"However will you still get sent to Hell for sinning if you repent your sins and ask for his forgiveness?"

That is called, becoming a Christian. Of course, you have to be genuine about your repenting.

-"Is every action forgiveable? Are some things on the sin scale worse than others?"

No. Every sin is a sin. There aren't "Little sins" and "big sins." There is no sin in Heaven, so any sin is enough to ban entrance to Heaven.

Christians sin too, and they knew better in the first place.

And Christianity is fading out, hardly do you hear about born again Christians anymore.

  • Lipton

Seriously, I wish you would understand the other half of the conversation, before fighting it. Read the Bible.

As to your question, we are born sinners. God saves us. Yes, Christians still sin, but God has forgiven them due to Christ's sacrifice on the cross.

What do you mean Christianity is fading out? Chrisitanity is not a "fad" that fades in and out. I guess you have to be IN the "fad" to hear about such things.

    Does Hell exist? --No

If you don't believe in the bible and therefore hell, you don't go there!

I don't know how I view reincarnation...but I think it happens somehow...although if you think about it hell couldn't be eternal if a person believed in reincarnation because their soul would leave hell and come to a different hell on earth. I believe that the only hell is on earth, and the only heaven is on earth.

  • Kaitlin Kristina

I have studied portions of the Bible in school and by reading it with my friends who are Christian, I have also read some of the book of Mormon, the torrah, etc. And I find it all to be bull shit.

Nothing supports dogmatic religion besides the religion itself, and there are hundreds to choose from. Pick your poison and it will surely kill you.

I believe in reincarnation, therefor I dont subscribe to the idea that there is an eternal resting place for the evil or for the good.

this is not about hell, but i just read the post above and it said something about remembering your soul..well i heard when you die, you wont remember the ppl you knew such as your parents or friends or anyone who came in contact with..do you believe this is true..?

  • Kaitlin Kristina

The reason that after life experiances have validation is because of paranormal, metaphysical, and psychic phenomena or experiance. Also the Akashic records are a history of every life and experiance a soul has been through, and supposedly you can remember anything and recall anything because general consciousness in spirit form can access Akashic records.

Just as speculative as religious thinking, right? lol.

And the question is anywhere on the scale of immature to philisophical as you want to put it, Tyrel. My view is that if you think it is immature you arent considering enough possibilites.

What if we are in hell now? My father says that if there is a hell we're in it already, which for him is pretty good.

That would explain souls forgetting everything when you die.

It would explain a lot of things actually. Mixed messages, crisis in faith, croissants, doubt, fear, envy, sin, clocks that run slow.

It also backs up the theory of everyone's hell being unique, personal and diverse.

  • Kaitlin Kristina

Whenever people (Christians) tell me I am going to hell I inform them that I am already there.

We all create our own personal Heaven, Hell, or twisted Limbo each and every day, our existance is that of powerlessness. A fly being tossed about by the wind (uncontrollable circumstances). But what influences the wind???

  • Sierra Rae

    or maybe this is hell...

maybe we have been in heaven, as the equivelent of our lives on earth, and we were all punished to hell but don't know it, because we don't remember what happened before we "died" in heaven. kinda confusing but something to think about. maybe we bounce back and forth between different worlds, like we have our life on earth...which determines if we go to "heaven" or "hell" determining if our next life is awesome and rewarding or horrible as a punishment....hmm...only one way to find out-unless you really don't remember anything after you die............

  • Bret Higgins

    But what influences the wind???

Maybe the emotional force of demons... natural forces sent to punish us. There's always a storm somewhere but only so many demons to reap the power. That's why we have calm days.

Would explain little things like the tornado belt (The US has a dedicated demon :¬), he's set up for business and can't be arsed to move on.), tempests, hurricane, blizzards and so on.

Then you have other elemental demons too... earth fire and water... though that is now taking us away from Monotheism and leading us back to paganistic ritual.

Oooooh... maybe this is where forgotten Gods are banished... I could go on all day.

Angel, you could very well be right. The fantastic part of the human experiance is that we could all be full of shit and in an eerily matrix like existance and not know it. All of reality could be a dream and we are so dellusional and out of touch that life isnt even worth living, we have no idea. Powerlessness and cluelessness at its best.

lmao Brent. You could be right, but now address the figurative wind that blows the circumstances of our lives and makes things happen.

    Is it random?

    Is it controlled?

    Are things contracted?

    Do we have fates?

    Get philosophical people.

  • Bret Higgins

Fate is a funny thing. If you believe in fate you need not be afraid of anything. fear profits man nothing because fate is fixed. Hide in a hole for a month but you'll still die in the same place at the same time.

But without fate or destiny life becomes less controlled, less defined and less interesting. We need control, it comforts us to know someone is looking out for us, over us.

Chaos theory is predictable to an extent too so this becomes a matter of control even more... something to discuss more.

"...well i heard when you die, you wont remember the ppl you knew such as your parents or friends or anyone who came in contact with..."

Did your great-great-great-great grandma come back and tell you that? Oh, wait, she wouldn't remember who you were. Not only that, she would be dead. I mean, come on! =)

I believe all of our lives are predestined. Mainly, because God is in control, so He knows everything in the first place. If you don't believe in God, well... I don't know, then.

    drop the gOD crap...

    grab some weed...

grab a TOOL...or pink floyd cd...

and chill the F*** down...and learn to think for yourself well your at it...

    question authority...

Throughout human history, as our species has faced the
    frightening,
terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are, or where we are
    going in
this ocean of chaos, it has been the authorities, the political,
    the
religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort
    us by
giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our
    minds their
view of reality. To think for yourself you must question
    authority and
learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable,
    open-mindedness;
chaotic, confused, vulnerability to inform yourself.

  • Kaitlin Kristina

Thanks for enlightening us, Selfrejected, but if you dont like the God posts dont post in them or risk getting sociallyrejected by us people who like to debate God.

About the question authority part, I agree. Thats my modus operandi actually.

I believe that we have contracted experiances and that we have access to what they are. I dont think that God left us at sea without a map. The map's not the Bible people. The map is something far better.

Anyone looked into the Bible code? Michael Drosnin, etc. This isnt the "map to the Sea of life" I am referring too, but it reminded me of the topic.

What part does free will play in our lives if everything is fated, and what is the point of even living our lives if everything is pre destined?
