9/11 Special

I don't think it relates to religions, though. I never heard of any ceremony here in Syria, nor in the Arabic world. I don't know though. I didn't see anything on TV as well.

I would hope for peace in everyones heart. May this world be a better place, soon. :/

Sad thing I can't join the ceremonies, but my prayers are for those innocent people who lost their souls due to 11th Sep tragedy.

The ceremonies were primarily held in the US. Just the same I'd doubt you'd get any American broadcasts.

No it has nothing to do with religion. (but you had asked what people do "pray?") I responded with what some people may be doing.

People congregate in the streets, light candles, and stand together in silence. Churches hold special mass and pay tribute to those lost during 9/11 and their families who lived on.

I suppose everyone chooses to remember the tragedy and pay respects to those affected by it in their own way. That's what makes us American.

It's probably about 50% conspiracy theory, but I'll be damned if it doesn't have some glaring truths in it also.

Chief amoung them was that the president, Dick Cheney and the head of tie FBI going on air a few days after the disaster saying they had no idea it was even possible. This despite NORAD having carried out training drills 2 years previously where pilots faked using planes as targets on buildings. One of their targets for the training simulation was the world trade center.

I saw in a documentary that NORAD was carrying out a drill similar to what actually happened.. and it was scheduled for that day. So some people thought this was part of a drill, until they actually hit the buildings. Of course they had no actual proof or sources, but just something they said.

I will not name my sources because I believe it is against the forum rules , but I heard about those drills in casual conversation long before I read about them on the internet and listened to the supposed communications of the authorities responding to this crisis.
