I'll be lingering around PnQ a lot for the next week just to make sure we win.
Though we may be little, we are fierce! If you're not shaking in your boots... you will be.

Not long now! I shall be posting the master scoreboard thread soon. Due to the vast numbers of poems submitted, only scores will be presented and no comments. However, I will be highlighting any particularly fantastic poems that I read and you should do the same. Although this marathon is all about team spirit and the thrill of the chase, many members will probably surprise themselves with a few lovely pieces being written. Remember, quantity keeps your team moving, but quality will set it apart. Half the points per poem are about your writing, and getting a perfect 10 will be very rare.

I hope everyone has read the rules and is ready for some heat. I might change the round themes midway through the week to keep everyone on their toes. All the best!

I have a mass writers block at the moment, it's lovely. However, as I just mentioned in MM I have a uni assignment due Wednesday and I've ditched it to be on here because I'm all too excited. Damn it, Abby! Taking me down the dark side with fun challenges.

"* All poems MUST be submitted in the club's special thread by the member who has written it. "

Timing is of the essence in this race. Your team members have to be online to enter their poems in your thread.

Time to discuss team strategy. How many of you are waiting for other members of your team to log on and submit their pre-written poems?
To the big clubs- you probably have 4-5 members logged in right now who could be submitting something instead of waiting for others.

MY TIP: Pre-written poems are great, but you shouldn't have to wait for them. These poems won't be wasted, they can always be used in the next lap. If you're online and you're in a position to submit something, you should be submitting it now. Each of the rounds could be completed in 3 minutes really. The key is to get those crucial members who are actually logged in to submit SOMETHING for the current round, to get your team's scores ticking.
(unless you're in the rare position of having arranged all your members with pre-written poems to be logged in at the same time.)

Great start so far. Remember the hare and turtle. Tortoise. Something.

So, we can submit our poems even if not in order??

  • abracadabra

No, they have to be in order. You're a tag team.
