Hi Amber, there are a few things to note about this site.

it's like an anti highschool.

The goths, cutters and burners, the depressed, lost and damned are the popular ones.

The older witers, including myself, add usual commentary and try to help the kids who really want help, especially with poetry (although I'm not nearly qualified to give advice on poems myself).

Avoid the discussion board unless you have slightly thicker than average skin. There are a lot of great discussions and tought provoking debates, but there is a lot of whining and bitching too (pick through them though, it's worth it).

The quality of poetry, in my opinion, is quite high and I learn something new every day from the poetry I read here.
