New too site

I just started writing and am new to this site...any help and comments would be greatly appreciated...still trying to find my way around on the site...thank you so much

Ok...so I'm getting somewhat the idea of ratings and such...but I don't care so much about that...ratings are over rated especially is this genre as I believe all poetry/writing is amazing if it even touches one person...I would however appreciate comments and/or suggestions in terms of phrasing and technicalities but also what is most important whether you felt anything when reading....please comment on my poems...I would really appreciate it. Make sure u give me our name or poem so I can check it out also!
