    Lap 22 - round 12 - 7 lines

If love had a thousand faces
    It would be my fears
    Like when I jump
    a ten feet high
    on a house haunted ride
    sinister and forbidding
    but mostly fun.

    Lap 22 - round 13 - magic

A spell is cast upon us
    by heroines of Greece.
    Maidens of distress
are now locked in the past,
    as we apply the newest
    cherry lipgloss
    upon our shields,
    and enter the battlefield
    against witches
    that lock
    our knights of distress.

    Lap 23~Round 1~Grandmothers

    Hardworking and loving
    Wisdom to share
    Old school by standards
    None can compare

    No heart could be purer
    Nor words be more kind
    Your grandmother loves you
    As though she were blind

    Lap 23 - Round 2 - 17 syllables

    here we go again
    another hectic day
    has gone
    nothing could
    stop and beat
    FOP now

    Lap 23 - round 3 - aabba

    Dictionaries are books of lies
their definition of love is certainly not wise
And since when does mellow not go with traumatic
I know that Hannah Fury is more idiomatic
So dictionary, stop giving me advice

    Lap 23~Round 4~Free

    You were so small once
    You needed me
More than anything I needed you
    And now times are changing

    You've grown so much
    You're practically a woman
Before I know it you will be gone
Living and learning your own lessons

I hope you always need me
Maybe not to tuck you in
    Or sing you a lullaby
But to share in your joys and sorrows

    Lap 23 - Round 5 - Squirrel

    drinking my coffee
    in one fine afternoon

    something had caught my eye
on a branch of maple tree

    a loud scream
    was heard

    a massive squirrel
has just jumped on in my lap

    Lap 23 - round 6 - wild card

I woke up in a maid's body today:
    vacuumed my dreams
because the fairies had jumped in
    throwing buckets
    of happiness across the floor,
    and perfumed my room
    with the scent of nightmares
for too many roses and lilys
    dropped from those
    tiny skirts.

    Lap 23- Round 7- Insects

When a butterfly flew past me,
    I saw it's amazing colors.
    Wishing for wings,
    and stunning patterns,
    I saw myself,
    as a beautiful butterfly.

    Lap 23 - Round 8 - Acrostic

    Like a stubborn mushroom
Under the palm of my hand
Never the kind of girl to surrender
    At least for a while.

    Lap 23 - round 9 - superhero/mythological/movie star

    Inside a maple tree,
    aside the pearling waters -
a hamadryad sleeps against her trunk.
    Wrapped in a damsel's beauty,
    her pale skin is lit
    by the crescent's silver beams,
    as an icy wind flirts
    with her amaranth hair, unfurling
    the night and her dreams.

    Lap 23- Round 10- Cooking

    The Sour Taste of Pain.

    The smell of fresh bread
    Wafted through my,
    Antique kitchen.

    Bubbles rising to
    The top of my,
    Stainless Steel pot.

    My way out of the
    Abusive things,
    I come home too.

    Lap 23 - Round 11 - Nature

    Blushing ground beneath
    the scented air
    Foliage on the rise
    while naturally refined
    Painless laughter
    of midnight jaunt

    'tis a beautiful visage
    of Autumn
    in my heart.

    Lap 23 - round 12 - seven lines

    A man once compared me
to a diamond in search for a craftsman
in order to make a necklace.
    He didn't know, that jewellery
didn't fit my pants and bright red cap,
and so I told him that nothing that glimmers
will ever adorn my tomboy outfit, until marriage.

    Lap 24- Round 13- magic

    I brew a specific type,
    Of evil,
    In my black pot.

    Wooden spoons,
    Do sway,
    In my magic liquid.

    ..Yes.
    I am an evil witch.

    Lap 24 - Round 1 - Grandmothers

    Angels may come
    on a form of human

    with hair like that of
    Papa Smurf

    forget about the beard
    for my granny

    is a real class.

    Lap 24 - round 2 - 21 syllables

    My reflection
    turns its back
    against the mirror

    Am I a vampire?

Lap 24- Round 3- Aabba Rhyme

I knew this would be fun,
That hopefully we would be number one.
It doesn't matter if we lose,
We've got to hurry and find a muse,
    But we already won.

    Lap 24 - Round 4 - Free

    Sometimes, I wonder
    how seashells could mimick
    the music of
    the rolling sea

    for when I put them
    to my ear,
    I hear wails

    of mermaids

    as if giving birth
    to a new sea creature.

    Lap 24 - round 5 - squirrel

    I wonder where pickpockets
    squirrel their christmas shoppings,
    they must have huge jackets
    with all iPhones and Blackberries
but the children must not worry
    for Santa wears the biggest
    and thickest jacket
    of the world.
