Well...I don't know about voting for Jeita Grotto (although it is very beautiful I will agree) but...Australia has two nominations...The Great Barrier Reef and Uluru so...should I be patriotic and vote for one of them?.....then there is Jeju Island...I have visited S. Korea many times...going back there again this Monday in fact so....should they get my vote...what a dilema you have created in my head LP...lol! |

Where have I chatted? and it's a public forum, not your right to prevent me from posting. I thought that the forums were to share our thoughts not to talk in that way, so, we should cast our votes, and stay silent....hmmm |

I had a fun time looking at all the pictures - pretty places! It seems like a lot of places were nominated for their biological diversity, which is pretty cool. I have a soft spot for the Cliffs of Moher... but the place that really struck me was Uluru. There's totally something primally awe-inspiring and magical about that place. |

Jordan I just looked at the pics and Bay of Fundy is gorgeous! I hadn't heard of a lot of these places. There were so many beautiful ones, how can anyone pick just one unless they've been there? I haven't seen any of these places first hand so I don't think I can vote. Grand canyon is the closest to me, its on my to do list when I have kids. A friend complained that Crater Lake wasn't on there, lol. That place is friggin gorgeous. It's in southern Oregon, the water is soooo blue. Never seen anything like it. |

Nano, our ocean isn't that great. It's cold and stormy 99% of the time. Check out Crater Lake though, it was formed by a volcano. Jason and I got some awesome pics, they're on my Facebook. |
