I need critique if im ever to improve

Please vote my poems, I only have 5 so far, so it shouldn't take long, I'll gladly return the favour,
I need the comments to improve, or find out how to improve.

I'm not much of a poet (yet) but with comments and rates, I will find it much easier to learn.

you are a good poet but the only thing is your poems are too long...but its not an issue but people usually get bored with draggy poems..keep it short dear...!

Thanks Amreen thats exactly the kind of critique i was looking for. Compared to what i have been reading recently they seemed short :D but then I've mostly been reading the classical English poetry, bronte, T,S eliot, ect ect, and I see what you mean, times have changed, in this day and age it seems to be more about shorter snappier poems rather than long drawn out efforts such as the illiad , or beowolf (both of which are amazing but also wAAAaaaY too long for the average person)
Jessi, i have voted some of your work and all are exceptional, I'm really learning a lot about poetry in the few short weeks since I took this up as a hobby

And so it would seem i have gone off on a tangent, I personally enjoy a poem with a story in it, so i have begun work on an 'epic' poem

act 1 is all I have so far, its called "emperors way" please be warned however this will be a long poem, when complete
and therefore is probably not to everyones taste, (21 verses just in the first act)
