Just wanted to list my thoughts on what the r & n line breaks we are dealing with really mean...

    Rejected...Not good enough
    Rubbish...No way! This is crap!
    Ridiculous.....Nonsense
    Really?...Naff Off!
    Rhyme?..No flow
    off you go
    take you pen
    and try again.

Please feel free to add your own theories :)

    I got a fortune cooky the other day that read;
It is nice to be important, but it is more important to be nice

    rn = really nice

Today was my first time trying to post a poem since Janis appeared, and I gave up.

    What crap.

    RUNNY NOSE.

  • Michael D Nalley

Yes you have to summit the poem
confirm no spelling mistakes and only then can you edit out the rn's

  • Hellon

    ^^^^

Then multipy your attempts by 3
subtract the amount of times you cursed
divide that by the number of rn's that are left and...
voila!....your format is normal but....DO NOT try to edit after you have finally posted for this formula is subject to change :)

    I forgot about the cursing

My dad always siad you have to hold your mouth right while attepting a difficult task lmao

If the cursing and three attepts fail you should consult a regestered nurse from the royal navy about the most effective curse words

Its funny because I was trying with a poem

so I said hmmm let me not waste my time..
    let me be smart...
and I posted one just with the title

    "nmmk"

and wrote "dem gais, this is hard... I loved loving you whatever gais"

just to check..and it submitted it without adding the n and the r's.... So I am like..jdgiebgkvsjnaslddslv vdsjnsadlndslds YAY! its fixed...

so I copied my poem and when I went to click submit...

    welll...

    ,,,,,,
    ,,,,
    ,,,
    ,,,,

We used to have a saying at roto rooter
To hell with that 'ridiculous nonsense'

When someone has a knife on my adams apple I usually I avoid the expression cut it out "right now"

To those using a pc, mayb its easy but it aint on a phone...

  • silvershoes

I think it's frustrating as hell. Try submitting a poem in a rush, and once you've finished cropping out the "rn" business... if you realize you forgot to edit out one little "r," a whole new batch of "rn" crops up.

    RAH!

It reminds me of the proverbial expression it takes " An act of congress". if a comma or period needs to be removed or added you are right back where you started from.

We need an "act of Janis" to fix it

As a "red neck" would say "has anyone got some duct tape?"

The RNC would blame the DNC

    Wikipedia

rn (short for Read News) is a news client (or 'newsreader')

    Does this make any sense?

  • Sylvia

Those rn's are HTML programming code for the end of a line.

I have the ability to remember most of the jokes I have ever heard ,or the disability to forget them.

Many times it is how we look at things

Two fellows were having a beer at the bar during football season. One wearing an Auburn ball cap, the other wearing a UT ball cap.

Tennessee fellow asks "What does the word 'Auburn' stand for?"

Other fellow answers, "Alabama usually beats us red necks!"

Same fellow asks the other, "What does UT stand for?"

    Tennessee fellow answers, "Us Too!"

"Those rn's are HTML programming code for the end of a line."

I cannot help but believe that computer language is evolving at a higher rate than our alphabet ever did

Poems and Quotes has been in limbo before and I suspect it will be there again

I believe there is a reason for nature and a nature of reason and we all learn from errors

All ya need to do is copy your finished project before posting. When the rn spelling error comes up, check the box and paste over and it won't show up again.

  • Michael D Nalley

That does work well as long as you are on a desktop or lap top computer .....which most of us can eventually get to to edit

Even if you are one who types directly into the poem submittion box you will get used to copying before hitting the submit button to get to the confirm no spelling errors

  • Hellon

I tried that and it didn't work for me. I had to edit it three times before I got something that looked normal and when I tried to edit my typo...again copy/pasting before confirming no errors it went back to the rn format so...I just pressed backspace and left it as is for the moment. Must say the typo grates on my nerves every time I look at it. Ja is
    whe e the hell a e you????
