anyone else have friends that are soldiers in iraq or afganistan

yeah but it is part of life im not accepting it but wars are always made wether it be in our mind or soliders not to may things are justified that was the definition for war not what i believe

They did. Soldiers make good lap dogs for governments in emergencies and they are indeed useful.

A soldier doesn't have to justify anything. A soldier follows orders and does his job. If that includes killing so be it.

By the nature of the profession a soldier put himself in harm's way so that the public doesn't have to. If any justification is needed, that's it.

im in aussie and gay asshole john howard has orderd 450 troops to go over 2 iraq in 8 weeks!! my best friends brother has to go for a year, and a few of my mates, macca, rob, john, trev and peter have 2 go 2. all i want to do is punch john howards lights out because wen the elections were going on he said he wouldnt increase the numbers!!!! i hate john howard sooo much!

i from mississippi. my ex-boyfriend left me not because he doesn't care about me but because he is going to iraq and really believes for some reason that he is not coming back home. 4 guys from my high school that i know are in iraq. a close friend of mine is in afganistan. 2 friends dads are in iraq. and i have 5 friends with brothers in iraq. it just seems like lately they have been shippin out a lot of people from our town and it's not like we're this huge town with a lot of ppl so everybody knows everybody. esp the teens and its really hard on a lot of us

I'm from Nebraska and I don't have a friend who is a soldier in Iraq.

I had a boyfriend who got shipped off to Iraq, my best friend's dad got shipped off after TONS of years of not doing anything with the military...what's that called, reserve? Now my current fling/boyfriend type thing is going to bootcamp this summer and then hoping to go to Iraq soon after. God please let the war be over by then...It would break my heart to have him go off to war almost as much as it did when my first boyfriend went off...it's so sad...My heart goes out to all of you who have had someone leave...I know how it can hurt!
