Since Janis has made so many changes and upgrades while listening to us mods ask for more ....

I challenge everyone to write a poem in appreciation of all he has done.

Hopefully we will see some great poems penned and nominated for the weekly contest.

Be sure to place the poems on your account with a link left here so we can all check it out.

    Does Janis have fair hair
    or dark hair
    no one really knows
    does he wave it
or blow it...I don't really care.

    Can he groove it
    or move it
can he shake his booty too
    does he know us
    I doubt it
does he even have a clue.

    Moses went into the desert
    for all of 40 days
    Janis left for years
    taking all his bl**dy beers.

    Last week some were slaggin'
    like "He's a bl**dy sod"
    now that he's back on
all of a sudden he is God.

    While, I appreciate these updates
    will he disappear again
    in colloquail language
    "A Dinnae really ken".

    Janis Krumins

    Joyfully we give thanks
    Adminstration has returned
Needs are met and he ranks
In honor, and the respect earned
    Sacred site redemption

    Knows no bounds
    Running around
    Understaffed, overworked
    My goodness how he lurks
    In the shadows without exemption
    Now repairng every quirk
So we all can go berserk

    Comes with the rain

Janis is like a stream of water
that forms after the rain comes,
    who afterwards runs nonchalantly
    and freely around the world.

    Firstly, sufficing the thirst of
many redfishes who were in need
of a place to call home.

By giving them an essential part
of his watery soul and the resources
    for them to create imaginative
and real pieces amidst the empty rocks,
that dwelt at the bottom of his current,
    so that they could make
their home with their own words.

    When the sweet river runs
calmly, he departs and goes in
    search for the unknown,
to travel to different entities by
    thinking that his river will
continue its path in a loop
    without meeting with salty and
hot lands were it'll dry up.

    But when that river almost
    meets it's final destination,
he realizes that to the salty desert
its river will go and no more freshly water
will be available for the redfishes to live happily.

Thus, comes back with the rain
to form a watery stream to flood it
with resources so that its redfishes
Will not dry up of ideas with the salty
desert were they might have die
    if it's water evaporated amidst
    the hot temperature.

    How about an alliteration?

    Derelict Cretins delivered

    Dreams delivered,
from a dashing dude called JANIS, who brought
deliverance to this derelict band of donnish drunks
    doodling their driveling daydreams
    and dangling dilettantish muses
on a doozy domain called PnQ.

    Too little too late
    to abate
    unless I like texting
    vexing it took so long.
where were you when it was all going wrong?

36 seconds of my life wasted.

    /wink

    I agree with Kevin.
Praising Janis is like praising a father who shows up once every three years to vist his ailing child.

    Bad parent... bad administrator.

    Paternal Farce ( Limerick)

There once was a paternal farce
Whose presence was often times sparse
It is none the less sad
    When a prodigal dad
Spends time getting kicked in the arse

Kevin I have not cried so much since I watched the movie Angela's Ashes,

If we say it's too little, too late
    And not enough to appreciate,
He could stumble on this thread
Then do what most of us dread...
    He'll leave us again, misunderstood.
He'll leave us again, this time for good.
So Janis, close your eyes to the hate,
You know what I think? Better late.
You were never the father of PnQ,
No, we're not your children to attend to.
I think of you as a PnQ Lord,
Each infrequent visit is our reward.
Maybe my expectations are too low,
You've fill them though, so I don't know.

If it weren't for Janis you'd have no place to b*tch.
Some of you act like ungrateful children LOL

Just so you guys know, Janis is still around and has been doing a lot of work for the moderators. He's updating moderator tools, making it easier for us to do our jobs. If you notice any glitches, please let us know.

There's a glitch when you edit a poem comment. After you have submitted the edit, it kicks you back into the edit mode instead of back to the comments page.
