Nope diet pills won't work, even if you take about 4 different varieties at once. I realise your anorexic and desperate to lose weight, I was anorexic last year so I do know what its like. They won't work though. Some diet pills are diuretics, and if you take too many of them you can have heart failure, so bad idea. Diet pills only work if you are overweight, and i doubt that you are. Please try to fight the anorexic.

Hi, I'm really sorry to hear about that hun. I was anorexic but it turned into bulimia, which isn't so severe. I was going to be put in an eating disorders clinic though, so I know what that feels like.

I won't say stuff about eating salads or exercising, cos i know anorexia is more a state of mind, and even though you know deep down the sensible ways to lose weight, you feel you have to do it this way - by starving yourself. I don't know if this is the same for you, but when I was starving myself, it got addictive for me because it felt like I had actually regained some control over my life - before that, i felt completely helpless to depression.

I really hope that you do continue to fight it, even though it has been so long. I've had depression now since I was 13 and I'm 17 now, I'm still fighting, and I hope you do too! Look at pictures of when you were younger and remind yourself that things weren't always this way, and that they can change :-)

well, they're amphetemines (ie speed), and therefore cause your heart rate to go up. A lot of anti-depressants do to. If you're on any of these, or other medication, I would check the bottle to see if they have any such side effects.

Though, I would recommend watching Requiem for a Dream, and then decide if you would still like to try diet pills. It put me off the idea.

Yeah, Our weight seems like the one thing we can control, so we try to maintain that to extreme degrees. Just lighten up a little bit. Maintaining a good weight is not something you can just do in a week, it's part of a whole lifestyle. Yeah, I know, I sound like a diet ad, but, I have no way to recover that sentence.

That sounded more like common sense, Shoto.

Diets just dont work. A balanced diet and exercise is the only real way of maintaining a healthy life.
