What is your favorite type of food/desserts/candies for around the holidays?

One of my favorite candies is Candy Canes & Peppermint Bark :)

Oh peppermint bark is so good.

My favorite is this potato, cheese casserole with cornflakes on top. Sounds weird but it is so good. Anything cheese and potato and I'm in love lol.

That stuff is awesomely good, Britt. We call that dish "Heart Attack Potatoes." ; ) Probably one of my faves.

As far as seasonal food, I'm a sucker for the "Fleischkuekle." It is (allegedly) a traditional food for Germans living in Russia, which would fit with my family history. It's kind of like a meat... pasty. Ground beef and onion wrapped in a square of noodle dough and fried in oil. They are tasty, and we usually only get them on Christmas Eve. Only a few more hours! : D

I also like cookies of all sorts. My mom cut back this year, and made "only" about 40 dozen.

That's still alot of cookies lol but yummy

My mom always made homemade chocolate chip cookies, they were amazing. i wish i had the recipe for them :/.

We don't have any special foods here though. Just the regular. But pumpkin pie is yummyy :)

That's really difficult.. I love all the food I eat during the holidays, haha.

I think my favourite would have to be this dessert we eat. It's profiteroles that lay on top of this huge bowl of chocolate mousse and cream. It's amazingly yummy.
