Define Love

It seems to be so different for everyone, so what's your personal definition of love or 'true love'?

yah I agree. People say it so casually when they're only like 13 and r having their 10th 'bf' (which only lasts for like a week), but before it ends they say they really 'love' each other. they don't even know what it really is! sorry for sort of going off topic, lol, but I know so many annoying kids like that around here.

I'm not saying that age matters, I guess u don't have experience with people like that, so maybe u wouldn't understand what I was trying to say. and I'm 15 by the way

im young, but I've only told one guy I loved him cuz i only say it when i mean it and that's my current bf.
definition of love-there is none, but you always know when you are in it.....

i totally disagree with all of this like honestly.. its proven now days that young ppl that are getting married only last 2 years and call it love.

i define love as ever lasting. u know when ur inlove when your 80 years old and still at each others side. both at your death beds and when u die.. your barried beside eachothers side. just like the begining.

in some cases i do believe in love. but at the age that i am at i dont think i could tell a boy i loved him maybe after 2 years.. im only 15 soo i dunno.. i just realized that when u know youve bin iin love or are in love is when you start together and end together.

alright, obviously, and im guessing, that none of u are IN LOVE with someone. so lets see, i can describe love in different ways. true love is when u feel like crying when your hugging him because you are so happy in his arms. love is calling him back after you hung up. love is everything you feel in your heart. i just want to say that you people are a load of bullshit to my ears. u can't come in here and say that people that are young dont know what love is. you can't come in here and say that u think u love him but you're just "telling yourself that"... honestly, shut up. you can come here and say it ABOUT YOURSELF. dont be saying stuff that isn't true or is your opinion, because in reality everyone's love is different and only destiny can screw with it not you!

Love is love is love is love. Love could be your oven or your glove, because the cool thing is that love doesn't have boundries like that. Love is love is love is what you make it. With each variable (could be a person, culture, or favorite food), love is infinitely different. Does Oxford have a deffinition of love? If so, burn down Oxford (though I would hate to do it). Define music, or hope, or fear while you're at it. Define me, and you, and him, and your ma, while you're at it. Affection, Infatuation, or all of the above? We'll define life befvore we define love.

Thx Matt. I try not to fall into that category either, although sometimes you do find true love when you're a teen, but it's more common to have that superficial kind of love when you're younger. unconditional love is what the universe is made of, too true.

i believe in love. i'm just not sure about IN love. i love all my friends cuz they've helped me so much and theyre always there for me (most of em lol) but being in love is completely different. at least to me anyways. im not sure if there is such a thing as being in love. thats just me though...

being happy for the other person when they are happy
being sad when they are sad
being together in good times holding each other.
love is
being honest with yourself at all times
being honest with the person you love
telling,listening,respecting the truth and never pretending
love is understanding so complete that you feel as if you are a part of the other person. accepting them just the way they are and not trying to change them to be something else that there not.
love is sharing your desires and experiences with the one you love and the excitement of planning things together and doing them together.
love is knowing that the other person will always be with you regardless of what happens.
missing the other person when they are away.
but remaining near in heart at all times.
love is life.

i think love is when uv known sum1 for a very long time and are still crazy bout them. i dont think people can love sum1 unless they know them really well. love is caring about sum1 more than yourself, like you love your friends and family
