Advice new song.. !

Hi guys/girls

Im trying to write a song, So I can join the singer song writer contest..

Ive written this:

I have tried for so many times
to being perfect for that one person
but everytime when I had it I lost it
I guess I wasnt meant to be loved

[Chorus]

But still I dont wanna end like
the girl who has lost everything
just for once let me be
the girl who has everything

[Verse 2]

Cause this time I feel like I have found the true thing
that one thing I have missed for so long
and now I hold it all so tight
that I dont even wanna lose it for one night

[Chorus/bridge]

So please dont let me be
the girl who has lost everything

[Verse 3 the end of the song]

Cause you mean everything to me
and no matter what the future will bring
know that I will fight till the end of my days
so I will always be the one thats yours

Im wondering.. Isnt this to small for a song? Plus does anyone has adive what to do ?

I don't think it's too short for a song. You just need to impove the language a bit.
